Tyr's **0.11.1** Pure Elemental Bow Spec

When I get my hands on Fork Ill probably use it until I obtain Chain. I like how Fork's damage penalty was reduced to -20% from -30%. I'll look to use Fork with Burning Arrow.

Chain's DR was increased to -50% & chains only 2 instead of 3 targets which is MEH. The one function of Chain I figured would get nerfed was blissfully left alone. It still hits all subsequent targets 100% of the time. The increased AoE passives will still have enough Ground Ice coverage to be an effective CC crowdstopper.

does soul siphon recover life instead of mana when you use the bloodmagic keystone?

Excellent question.

I have no idea! Blood Magic Keystone is far far away from Shadow/Witch start. Probably doable for Marauder/Templar. Interesting concept. You should test it!

so with Soul Siphon my tree would look something like this:

Soul Siphon + Bloodmagic Split Arrow + Supports

Using Splitarrow chain and life leech or something like that nothing fancy

- My time on testing has been spent on theory only so far I haven't even played OB yet since my time is limited I want to work out my tree first before I go ahead and play it so if someone knows the answer just PM me or post it here if Tyranthal doesn't mind

No. It would add mana to your non-existent mana pool. You would still pay for skills with life. (If it did work like that, you could get double-duty using mana regeneration and life regeneration and live forever. And who wants to live forever?)

so I'll just quote someone who answered my question to satisfy your curiosity. Not 100% sure tho still need someone to test it for me :P

but actually this would be extremly broken and I doubt it works and it all makes sense if you think about what the guy I quoted from said.

Any reason why you don`t pick IR? it looks like a pretty solid choice for survivability

I plan on not getting hit that much and if I do so I rather choose not the get hit atall(evade) rather than taking less damage but its just personal preference I guess IR is surely a good thing, but I admit I haven't played much.

Nah I don't mind at all. That is one interesting build you came up with. You will likely be lacking firepower tho. Resolute Tech is an amazing keystone. It is very safe when fighting groups. But....it lacks the punch you want to kill tough rares. Iron Grip would probably help.

What interests me the most is how you connected ranger start to marauder start. THAT will make you very tough to kill. The regen & HP & less crit dmg multi will more or less be enough D. I get by with less D cause of HP/ES/Moving alot.

I made a few tweaks to the build you posted. Resolute tech wont do you any favors. Setup Ice Shot to Chain for the 100% hit chance & CC. Also, my buddy adapted this build to Split Arrow & used a Death's Harp. It was extremely effective. But you wont get the amplified dps
returns from elemental dmg.

Gave you Diamond Skin, Iron Grip & Body & Soul. An intriguing approach!

Thank you for this build!

Being a noobie, what gems should I be looking to aim for when I first start out?
What are the support gems for each skill besides chain? Sorry I looked through the threads and couldn't find them thanks!
