Is there a reason you don't take Unwavering Stance?

Also, is this viable for Onslaught?

Thanks

For life builds you will have a very large health pool and not be stunned for long and on a rare occurrence. For the CI build it is too far out of the way and you will need the amulet that makes you immune to stun. I'll add some more items in the gear tab when I get home from work.

And yes it is great for any league. Tho you will need unwavering for onslaught CI build.

Would you say CI is more effective for Onslaught league? Also - would it be possible to level following the CI build (taking a few life nodes here and there) or would it pretty much require a huge respec at around level 70 or so?

Thanks!

Could you please explain why are you going to iron grip? And then making all the way down to blood magic istead of going straigth from golems blood to blood magic? Thanks.

This. Not tryin to question you just out of curiosity and theory-crafting sake :).

Also is there much difference between Duelist/Ranger to start this build?

Thanks so much for starting the new thread!

Thanks!

Just wondering how LA fares against elemental reflect packs as of now. Still getting instagibbed or has it improved since I last checked (would've been a while ago). Thinking of maybe rerolling.
Is this an achievable CI build for a beginner in terms of costs? I would like to try a CI build, but as i am a new player my stash is only worth like 10 gcp or so. Also how should I start as CI build? Because you only seem to have made a leveling path for Life Build.

Thanks in advance!

Actually, I would say the opposite - since you cannot get a stun immunity amulet and everyone else is going CI it will be harder to find gear. I'd go life.

LA converts 50% of your physical damage to lightning damage. Iron grip allows you to use that 300+ strength that you have for some extra damage, plus you stroll right past it.

As for not picking up blood magic sooner (heading towards it from trolls blood) you need the extra life from the middle to sustain blood magic.

You gain either more evasion/health in trade for DPS or about the same damage boost for going ranger (depending what route you take. These would be your two options: Evasion/HP route. Vs. balanced damage route.

I mean, you could combine both, and get all the ranger goodies, but you might not make it to static blows until really late game (85+) and that would really hurt your overall DPS. Either that, or you'd have to sacrifice life in marauder/middle area. etc.

I added a 75 point CI leveling build in the OP. Here's the tree for it. just follow those highways, and pick up life as I did. If you get to that point and still don't feel safe going CI, go up to static blows and grab health around there too.

Is there a quicker tree or perhaps a more balanced one with more DPS? Going to Iron grip seems to make it a lot slower to static blows. Just throwing it out there.

Let me know what you guys think!

Also Edzill if you could post your gear for a reference that would help us all out I'm sure.

Thanks again for your help

I've made the CI build tonight, but I already see that there not very much to zero resistance in the build, do I need to have all of it from gear?
