I wouldn't think that they will become permanent. I ask myself these following questions to arrive at my "opinion".

-What happens when the next "leagues/season" happens (if)?
-Do we need to display another set of "stars/whatever"?
-What if they have many, many leagues w/goals? How many "sets" of stars/whatever do we need to display beside the forum names?

Some will suggest: Why not add a forum title (or similar) to show how far a player got in X league/challenge?

Using the same logic in the questions posed above: I come to the same answer:

basically it would look very "crowded" beside all of our names (either as sets of stars or multiple forum titles).

I wasn't sure that anyone would finish all 8 challenges before the leagues expired. All 90 uniques seemed a bit too hard... but you did it with time to spare! :)

I hope your tshirt says "I completed all 8 challenges and all I got was this lousy t-shit"
