[1.2.1][v5.0] Dual Shockwave Totem - LowLife/DPS/IQ/IR/3 Auras with a Witch

- Requirements updated
- Pos/Cons updated
Lvl 80.65 now, will be 81 tomorrow.

I have done some tries replacing the IAoE gem by Concentrated effect. AoE is very tiny but so powerful.
In 1.35 lvl i will have my last +40% mana regen. At this point i will think about removing culling strike, re-colored my shav' and included Concentrated effect instead.

It will be awesome but really expensive in mana (266 lol).

Stay tuned ;)
Awesome Build. as you know, I m leveling up the same one...

to prevent any long, drawn out, repeating questions, here's a list of what works, and what dont with shockwave totem.. its a special one for sure, and so much fun to play!

Shockwave totem is ONLY affected by:

- Increased area of effect nodes from the skilltree
- Increased area of effects support gems
- the Amplify and Blast radius nodes from the skilltree (both radius and damage)
- Faster Casting support Gem
- Added fire Damage support Gem (**)
- Added Lightning Damage support gem
- Added Chaos damage support gem
- Added Cold damage support gem
- Concentrated Effect support gem
- Hatred Aura (***)
- % added Physical damage from rustic sash or non-weapon(*) unique items (like the Magnate Belt, Blackheart ring or Ezomyte Peak helmet)
- The 18% increased Physical damage from Bandit quest in cruel (Oak)
- Vulnerability Curse (25-34 More Physical damage taken)
- Quality Vulnerability Curse (0.5 % more Physical damage taken)
- Totem Range node from the skilltree (15% increased "see" range) (base range is 100)
- Ancestral Bond node, which allows you to have an additional Shockwave Totem out
- Soul Mantle unique robe which allows you to have an additional Shockwave Totem out
- Increased Knockback from Items, Support Gems or nodes from the skilltree
- Increased Duration support gem (increases the time the Totem stays "up")
- Minion and totem elemental resistances support gem.

(*) Redbeak's 100% increased physical damage does work when on low life, as it is a global modifier and not a local (weapon) one.
(**) If you use Added Fire support gem, any item, support gem or skilltree node that boosts fire damage will boost the fire damage part of the shockwave
(***) If you use the Hatred aura, any item, support gem or skilltree node that boosts Cold damage will boost the Cold damage part of the shockwave

Shockwave Totem is NOT affected by:

- Any Increased Spelldamage from Items or the skilltree. there currently is a bug which will display an increase in damage, but as the totem's skill is not a spell, the boost is incorrect. Increased spelldamage simply does not add to your damage.
- Any numerical added Physical damage from items (Iron ring 1-4 or Abyssus 40-60 physical damage for example)
- Anger Aura
- Haste Aura
- Iron Will skilltree node or Support Gem.
Don't Touch my Sweep please GGG!
Not sure if soul mantle works with ST.
A totem cannot cast a totem.

Dont know what happened in this case.

I have a friend with this unique, i will ask him if i can try it.
Seems very interesting. I am looking for a new build now that my templar has a 68 free point respec. But I'm not yet convinced. Anyway this build can be cost friendly?

Your DPS depend of the lvl of Shockwave totem gem so before respec, try to lvl your gem before.

This build can be very cheap even if you don't have shavronne. You will be limited to piety run (no chaos in this stage).
Catacomb will be tricky (spider chaos).

You can also use an other neck if you don't have Chayula.

So yes, it can be really cost friendly if you are not requiring.

I already have done lvl 68 maps without any problem.

Trust me, this build is powerfull, maybe more than Spark. I'm not joking.

I feel like I have to tell you I am on onslaught. Will this be managable with 2-3 uniques only? Onslaught prices are insane.

To be honest. I think this build is clearly not managable in HC without shavronne.
We don't use LowLife for Wonderstrap (IIR) only like Sparker but for DPS (Redbeak).
Sparker can use CI temporaly but Shockwave totel can't.

Without LowLife, this build is completely useless.
And without LowLife AND Shavronne, you will be dead before reaching Piety run.

But you already are lvl 68, so i hope you can Piety run.

If you can, yes, it can be managable. Fast monsters are easy to kill with this totem because there try to run on it but there are knockback every time and quickly ;)

But remember, your DPS depends of the lvl of the gem. so don't start this build at lvl 68 with a Shockwave totem lvl 1. Start it when the gem will be lvl 16 minimum.

Piety is easy with gem lvl 17. Could be little more tricky and longer with lvl 16. My is currently lvl 18 and it's rocks :)

Don't kown your choice for bandits rewards but it can be managable but not optimised without the good choices ;)

Now i'm lvl 81. 2% from the max AoE.
I will post some screenshots to compare the AoE with/without concentrated effect later.

My end game build Will be updated too. Now i Will have more ES.

I love this build :) i'm very exciting to have lvl 20 ST.

I Will have Windows 7 too, so i Will do more multiplayer and more videos.

If you manage to breach 5.5 or even 6K damage with this build, that would be awesome!

I just love seeing those silly monsters being knocked back between 2 Shockwave totems and unable to anything..

awesome build!
