Facebreaker + Frenzy - Fist of the North Star [44K DPS , 20K Armor , no fear to reflect]

Vaal Pact is not so great (tried it with similar build - cleaver). Having NO regen is NOT favored for this build imo.
It does feel awesome with loads of mobs, but if you end up taking a last hit before killing blow its kinda meh. You will then encounter the next pack with low hp (using bloodmagic with my traveling gems i.e. leap and whirling) = potentially below 50% life. You do not want to run into a boss or exile like that. My build is not that life intensive on the cleaver hence the problem - might not be as big if you have a large life pool.
This makes my playing style far too slow to be fun (normally i just leap into EVERYTHING and smack away).


I feel that potions and life regen are still the better option.

Started lvling the frenzyfacebreaker (started as marauder and ranger lolz) wanna find the best starter (since we have 3 potential starting positions to choose from). ATM marauder (infernal/domination blow) is far the tankiest, but ranger far the most fun (due to getting +frenzy charges VERY fast) and utilizing the actual skill for this build.

i think that equip claw unique "bloodseeker" both of hands , and using frenzy + multistrike + faster attacks will more better than get vaal pact for melee toons.(but it's just i thought once)

And now i'm leveling for 6 endurance charges to use Q20 immortal call.
if it works well , maybe i can handle Abyssus.

can I ask why you get 1h damage nodes?
I thought facebreaker was not 1h because its glove, is this wrong?



I believe he took it because it was the most sensible (shortest and closest to Tetsudo, the shield passive) exit out of the duelist skill tree. I have been theorizing on the same basic build and I believe this IS the most efficient way to go when you also grant your shield more bonuses and go directly down into the Golem's Blood passive and onward towards the ranger or marauder passive skill highway.

you are right :)

btw I got a full re-spec and been delving the ranger area. still take acrobatics, but on the left part only up to RT. 45k normal dps, but been toying with IB and DB. Dominating Blow is a lot of fun. Still managed 20k dps with both Blows. (crazy 338 mana cost with DB pay with life! at 0.2 attack speed!).

If I play a little bit carefully I can avoid many reflect deaths >_<

with 20+ dominated minions I believe you can dominate any maps, solo (need killing blow for the shark boots and Blood rage, to get the boots regen from frenzy charges). In group I simply use Infernal Blow but hard to gain Frenzy charge (shark boots). I guess Frenzy still reign supreme when it comes to raw dps. RAWRRR!

on acrobatics, I believe its worth it IF you are not having much armor or ES in the first place. but if you plan on stacking some armor or ES then just forget it, take hp nodes instead :)
As FB and BoR user, we have TWO less gear slot. not much ES or armor to gain anyway, or so I think :)

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong with my setup?
I can only manage 588 DPS at level 51...

First, get rings and amulet with high ADD PHYSICAL DAMAGE
then get MEGINORD belt if you can afford it. if not, Rustic Sash with Increased Physical Damage (I think) is OK.
Any chance look out for higher damage Facebreakers.

but isint magnate belt better?

In a iron ring you can get slightly more. Unless, you are talking about the explicit part, then yea.






I think the max overall from an iron ring is 10-19. Implicit and explicit combined.
