Anyone else tired of finding common uniques over and over....?

So this is just my current opinion which I have had basically ever since I started playing the game. I've never really enjoyed or understood the prospect of finding the "common" uniques over and over again when I am grinding at the end of the game. I don't expect everyone to agree with me on this and I respect the opinions of those who don't. So furthermore there is no need to rage at me if you don't agree, just state why you don't agree and that will be enough.

I think many players are a lot like myself and are only hoping to find more rare uniques that are needed for future builds or are worth a decent amount of currency. I find it disheartening to repeatedly find the same worthless uniques many many times. I've spoken with devs about this in the past and eventually dropped it with hopes that implementing many more uniques would alleviate this issue for me. The game now has many more uniques but I don't really see much of a difference. Any uniques above common still feel absurdly rare and common uniques rain from the sky in mocking wonder. I can't even feel excited when I see that flash/sound and tell tale color because I already know that odds are it will just be disappointment and I will either vendor the unique or more likely just leave it on the ground.

I have been around for awhile, I know that these uniques aren't completely useless. I know that they serve a purpose in the game and I know which ones are great on certain builds. However I don't think any argument is good enough to justify the common uniques being handled in this manner. I believe the only reason common uniques drop at the end of the game is so that they can drop at a higher item level and therefore can get more sockets and links. I believe there has to be a better way to handle this than having them clutter up the end of the game.

If everyone found rare uniques that were "worth a lot of currency". They wouldnt be worth a lot now would they :)

The amount of end game "build enabling" uniques is rather small. I can only think of bringer of rain, Shavronne (which I hope GR and/or ZO gets adjusted to prevent RF) thus making it do what it was designed to do, and.... I dunno. I'm sure there's a couple more, but I can't think of them right now.

Most end game "rare and expensive" uniques I personally classify as build amplifiers. Meaning they do nothing to create the build, but only allow it to be stronger. Personally, I hate uniques like this.

So, when it comes down to finding end game uniques to create builds with, the number is pretty damn small. And per your OP, I don't know really what to do about that.
Id be alot happier to find them if there were vendor recipes for single, or full sets of, uniques. Ive suggested such a few times in other threads.

Make higher orbs craftable and give players a use for all their surplus and unsellable low uniques in one simple fix.

I expected to get a few of these responses although its not exactly on the topic that I wish to discuss. It may seem like I just want to see better uniques drop but the focus of my OP is on the common uniques that drop, where they drop and how often. I can understand the reasons for why the "above common tier" uniques are so incredibly rare.

Agreed. This would definitely make me feel better. I'm surprised they haven't done something like this yet.

Uniques should be uniques, not "common" and "special" and whatever.
Right now most of them are worthless, one can only vendor them, nobody wants them.
I do not like at all where ggg is going with the uniques in this game, especially lately with the "ego-uniques" that are OP and BiS and even have the name of the payer, name that it is totally out of the game lore universe.

Low level uniques should not drop on high levels. If high ilvl is so important there should be an orb or vendor recipe or something that raises the ilvl.
This would make it more interesting to finfd uniques at both high and low levels.
I got 4 quill rains, 3 black gleam quivers, 3 blackheart rings and many, many others and I'm also sick of finding this low level crap over and over again. Either lower their droprate so they were worth something or give us some recipe to get rid of them, selling for a couple of alt shards to vendor seems like a big waste.

Looting low level uniques in high level areas feels like a slap in a face.

it looks like all those common uniques which everyone considers as trash are highly affected by iir stacking getting all those fancy uniques everyone wants isnt

i say it looks like cause when i find uniques which arent 1 alch 1 chaos vendor food i have normally close to 0 iir

That would be crazy if true. I can't imagine that being true and if it somehow was I would be pretty ticked off. lol
