Assuming you mean Ice Bite, the 30% increased damage is additive with other sources of increased damage, including such nodes as %IPD with bows.

Does anybody know if Phase Acrobatics helps vs ele reflect?

Phase Acrobatics affects spell damage. Ice Shot's AoE is still counted as an attack, even if it is all elemental. And for the record: I was not, in fact, using acro. I have exactly one acro character and she's melee. I may respec into acro eventually, but I made this build on SC and my points priority was on damage rather than defense.

And yeah, @#$% aura changes.

1) Im using 4L IceShot-LMP-Pierce-ManaLeech, but i just read, that you recommend not using Pierce, and use LL/LoH. Should i switch to ProjWeakness and change Pierce for LL/LoH?

2) And what is better for IceShot - LL or LoH? (i got 15q LoH and simple LL)

Is "King of the Hill" no option with the knockback on crits?

1) I favour PW + LL/LoH. One, PW increases damage. Two, PW causes knockbacks and LL/LoH return HP, and as a result, the combo with the curse is safer than without, in all cases except maybe reflect.
2) I like LoH as it is more effective against reflect, but LL will have the larger total HP return and a smaller mana multiplier. Particularly with a quality LoH, I'd go with that one. But you may as well try both, they're the same colour anyway.

I feel that it is rather a waste of points, and projectile weakness already brings knockbacks with it.

Alright so I tried coming up with a variation of my own, I'm going to try this on Nemesis so I'm going to ditch the dodge nodes and what not. Probably going to use a BM gem later on when I can wear my 5L. I don't know if I picked up enough damage along the tree, or if I need more hp. When I plugged it into a offline tree calculator I got 192% increased max life. Anybody got any advice to fix up this build a bit?

I have a question in relation to ice arrow in general. Are we looking for elemental damage for item stats since ice arrow is ice? Or does the multiplier work based on magic damage because it's a spell?(if it even is considered a spell, i'm not sure of that either) Will physical damage multiplier make the skill do more damage or does that only apply to the bow base damage(along with iron grip if you have that passive/gem). Just would like to know what type of stuff to look out for as I haven't started my character yet and don't really know how rangers work. Any feedback would be awesome. Thanks :)

The build was fun while it lasted and definately HC-viable.

However in my case it met its demise in the hands of quick rare devourers at lvl68 :( It was my first encounter with Devourers on Merciless so I did not really know what to expect... Now I know :P

One does not simply run away from quick devourers. Shoulda just ALT+F4'd or stayed in melee-range to fight it out instead of trying to run away. Oh well :P

They were the only thing that could do anything to me, though.

I still don't understand it after looking at that chart. There are a lot of percentages in their examples that I don't understand. I would really just like a clear cut answer as to what I should be looking for as attributes.

Very nice guide, highly informative. I'm curious however what's the squishy version you (the author) went for since it isn't mentioned in the guide, and some numbers that you manage to put out (dps and such).
