There's some debate about the nodes behind it, some people think that 5 points is too much to spend to reach phase acro. Your choice, in the end.

Ice Shot cone damage is calculated from the damage dealt to the mob which was hit. Point Blank affects that first hit, but the damage is constant throughout the cone area for that mob.

I think the extra dodge is immensely helpful, and don't get those debates. If you take no damage from spells, those five nodes are giving you 16.3% additional damage avoidance. If you take 50% of your damage from spells, those five nodes give you 22.1% damage avoidance. If you take 100% damage from spells - they give you 30% damage avoidance.

If those five nodes aren't worth it, how is any block node ever worth it?

Yep, updated OP for 1.0.0 (aura setup wrecked, otherwise unchanged), but did not pull new HP/DPS numbers. Most of my time has been spent on Nemesis league. It'll happen eventually, but I can't guarantee the time.

LOL, good one. Sorry, I don't do incremental builds. Most I'll say is favour HP if HC and crit if SC, and build according to what you need.

Wow, seems like a nice build, always wanted to make Ice Shot something, now gonna try it on Scion.
Are you playing on HC, right? Or if not, is it any good for HC? Will survive?

The biggest issue for HC is reflect, as this build is ranged and has freezelock for added safety. ckay27 has run a HC variant without the crit, link in the second post - you can consider that. Without crit, reflect is highly unlikely to kill you, and the rest is just down to your good play.

On leveling, which aura should i use? Hatred?

So, mana atm seems like real problem for at lvl 37. Cant sustain it at all. Dont know waht to do, cause its very sad to sustain mana only through potions :c

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm really new. Do you end up refunding the early dex bubbles later? The first link of the build goes down and around and up to get pierce and Ondar's, but then goes a different direction in the build at 65.

Should still be possible to run it on mana. Either take EB or use Thief's Torment, and between that and physical mana leech, sustaining 3-4 aps is possible. Maybe more, but my numbers are skewed because I've used GMP for the longest time.

I would use Hatred unless I needed the resists from Purity, or for some reason I needed the evasion from Grace. But yeah, Hatred or Purity.

Yeah, you refund those bubbles eventually, if we're thinking of the same ones. I picked the shortest route to get to the good keystones, because IMO the earlier you get pierce the better. You refund at any time you like, just spend a few levels going through the alternative route, then use quest respecs to remove the original. Or you just go with the regular route all the way and never mind leveling efficiency.
