Lightning strike projectiles and melee damage

I'm understanding this as:

The projectiles are dealing your weapon damage, but are projectile damage, not melee.

Therefore:
+12% Melee Physical damage, will not increase the damage, as they are projectiels
+12% Physical Damage with Claws (or other weapon type), will increase the damage, as that is weapon damage
+10% Weapon Elemental Damage, will increase the damage, as that is both weapon and elemental, but I wonder if this will increase the damage 2x?
+6% lightning damage, will increase the damage, as the projectiles are lightning
Correct. But I am still not 100% sure if Melee Physical Damage support gem is not treated as a Strength bonus. I mean it could be treated as such in the formula since if it's not weapon physical damage it might default to strength damage?

It doesn't double up. "Weapon Elemental Damage" I think just means the elemental damage dealt by weapon attacks, as opposed to spells. So it increases all your elemental damage on equipment that gets added to the weapon elemental damage, and benefits Auras (Hatred) and supports (Added Fire, Added Cold,...).

To shit like this the tooltip needs to say

melee dmg = bla bla
projetile dmg = bla bla


Like elemental hit is also totaly unknown
It need to say dmg depending on what it fires
fire = bla
frost = bla
ligthning = bla

We need to know what the fuck we deal of dmg!!
When they add damage indicators, this will all be taken care of. :)
