2 scouring and a chromatic. Also got an alchemy orb on the beach on the way to kill Hillock and put them in my stash. Convenient!
Open beta is still BETA.
Started 33 minutes left and the pace I ran was better than the 1st place Duelist. Finished level 22 with 97%. Shame my internet went out for 40 minutes, my provider is usually reliable, but not today at the least opportune time.

Some decent drops, although I didn't get an alchemy until about 20 minutes left, decided to keep it rather than use it with so little time left.

Any thoughts, ETA, of the solo only race possibility?

Dito

I haven't made the effort participate much lately because of the same guys in a group always winning it.
Dregos is right. I also repeat my idea of giving prizes to the top X % rather than top X players. We had a TON of racers this time.
My article promoting PoE:

Running PoE on an Intel i5 2500K, Radeon 7950 OC, SSD Vertex 3 MI, 8 GB RAM.
I'm also a Software Engineer and Indie Game Developer ::- ). Go Go GGG!!!
I came #45 though, I hardly call that winning every time ;)
Personally, I have no problem with you taking #1 all the time (I suppose that wasn't addressed to me). The good players deserve the recognition even if they take the first places non stop. I'm a highly competitive person and I believe in recognition.

What I proposed is entirely different and that's giving prizes to the top X % which would nicely mitigate this "issue".

They essentially do by handing out rewards to those that hit level milestones.
