Stash improvements (photoshop inside)

Hi there!

I've tried this once before but I don’t think the idea came across very well. Therefor I made a few photo shopped screenshots to explain the idea a bit better.

The problem with the stash I have as its currently implemented is as following:



On the picture above is my stash. Lots of tabs, numbers all scrambled, have to browse left and right through over 30 of them. Even the tab list is so long that it scrolls down. Stashing a few different types of items is kind of time consuming. I know, I'm a massive item hoarder, probably not everybody encounters these problems. But I bet a lot of you out there do. I know the developers are working on the option to give the tabs a name. however this does not solve the problem of having to browse through so many of them. I came up with the following solution:



The idea behind it is that we would be able to purchase the tabs on the right side of the stash and give them a name, then assign tabs to it. When having selected a certain tab on the right side only the numbered tabs that where assigned to it will show up. this will effectively reduce the number of tabs shown at a time and give the option of quickly browsing to a different "section" of the stash. On the picture above the "category" tab is selected which I called Orbs. I happen to have 2 tabs with orbs so I assigned them both that category tab.



On the second image is an example when the next tab on the right side is selected. I named it "gems". I have a tab for each color gem and a separate one for gems with quality. Therefor I assigned 4 tabs to the gem "Category" tab. When selecting this tab, only those tabs are shown. With 1 click I can switch between these "Categories".

This system would eliminate both the navigation arrows and the tab list scroll bar for me. With 10 tabs on the top and 10 "Category" tabs on the right, I have room for 100 tabs each no more than 2 clicks away. (one click right side, one click top side). Trust me... I would gladly pay for this. Perhaps others will too.

I would love some constructive feedback on this (specially since the photo shopping took some time and effort ;-)

Although I have not that many tabs (and probably never will haha) I think the idea and even the photoshopping is excelent, this is such a good way to organize everything.

BUT! I don't think you should have to pay for the category tabs, just let us categorize. As an example I have the 4 or 5 main tabs (can't remember) and would still like to categorize between them, like 2 tabs for items or whatever, but paying for every single categorize button is a bit harsh.

Just let us make a maximum of categories and drop the tabs on the category you want it to, we are buying space kinda, not game features in my opinion.

In the end it's up to the dev’s of course. It's just that these guys got to make money on something. And because it is never going to be P2W, it is these kind of things that could help bring in a little revenue. As a silver supporter I had points to burn anyway so I bought stash tabs. wouldn't mind throwing a few more points there way for those "Category" tabs. Essentially you are just getting another tab (30 points), just with a different function. Thanks for the constructive feedback mate!

Just wanted to throw in my support for this great idea. Even though I doubt I'll ever need that many tabs, it's always nice to have means to organize your stuff. So much less time of "Where did I put that darn rare I wanted my witch to try out?" and more time enjoying the game.

So, I too would gladly pay for this. Not that I'd mind getting a little teaser for free - perhaps a standard 3 categories and the ability to buy up to 7 more, or something like that.
