Diamond Flasks are back in 0.11.1

Those chests behind the witch dont spawn in that place normally... Wonder what those are. They remind me of the first 4 levels in Diablo 1 cuz those torches were also in D1.

You should make unique Diamon Flask, which would make you crit, whenever you crit rolls a non-crit, except when you are with Resolute Technique. That could be fun, like a flask, which makes you crit more with uber low crit chance, than with really high.

This... Is... Lucky!!!
Here since Closed Beta. Never found a Mirror. Still love PoE. :- )
Are you planing to make unique flasks in the future? I think that would be great!
Most of my chars are not even able to crit (due to RT) but I really like to see these flasks coming. Good job!

Lucky Crit Chance = 1 - ((1 - Crit Chance) * (1 - Crit Chance))

Crit Chance Reference:

CC LCC
100% 100%
90% 99%
80% 96%
70% 91%
60% 84%
50% 75%
40% 64%
30% 51%
20% 36%
10% 19%
0% 0%

Edit: Darn, someone beat me to it -_-

Edit2: Continuing the above table

Percent Increase Actual Increase
00% 00.00%
10% 09.00%
20% 16.00%
30% 21.00%
40% 24.00%
50% 25.00%
60% 24.00%
70% 21.00%
80% 16.00%
90% 09.00%
--% 00.00%

Shows that the flask will be most useful at 50% crit chance and pretty useless below 20% or above 80%.

You are listing the increase in critical strike chance in percentage points. An increase from 10% crit chance to 20% chance is an increase of 100% or 10 percentage points.

If your current crit chance is xx%, then the "Lucky" effect is equivalent to having a temporary "100 - xx % more critical strike chance". So if you have 20% crit chance, you will get "80% more crit chance". If you have 40% crit chance, you will get "60% more crit chance". Notice that it is the "more" mod and not the "increased" mod, as the bonus applies to your current crit chance rather than your base crit chance.

So actually, the lower your crit chance is, the stronger the modifier from the flask is.

Calculations below:

If your current crit chance is 10%, your lucky crit chance is 1-(1-0.1)*(1-0.1) = 0.19 = 19%. This is an increase of (19-10)/10 = 0.9 = 90% compared to your current crit chance.. or 19-10 = 9 percentage points. And since the increase is compared to you current crit chance and not your base crit chance, it is not equivalent to "90% increased critical strike chance" but to "90% more critical strike chance".

So if CC = current crit chance, LCC = lucky crit chance:

CC --- LCC ---- Increase - Equivalent to
00% - 00.00% - 00.00% - 00% more crit chance
10% - 19.00% - 09.00% - 90% more crit chance
20% - 36.00% - 16.00% - 80% more crit chance
30% - 51.00% - 21.00% - 70% more crit chance
40% - 64.00% - 24.00% - 60% more crit chance
50% - 75.00% - 25.00% - 50% more crit chance
60% - 84.00% - 24.00% - 40% more crit chance
70% - 91.00% - 21.00% - 30% more crit chance
80% - 96.00% - 16.00% - 20% more crit chance
90% - 99.00% - 09.00% - 10% more crit chance
