[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]
I have a concern with the low accuracy of this build. Critical hit rolls first in game mechanics and then a roll to determine if enemy dodges (your accuracy versus their evasion), with a successful dodge roll making that critical hit a normal one. http://en.pathofexilewiki.com/wiki/Evasion Given this, do you find it makes a major difference in dps/refilling granite flasks at end game? Also would it possibly be better dps to drop some of the 1H physical damage nodes over by templar for some some accuracy nodes?

" The tooltip DPS shown already takes into account accuracy as well as the double accuracy rolls with crits and all the other calculations. So as long as your DPS is good, that's all you need to care about :) Accuracy wise as long as you can maintain >75% it's more than good enough, especially considering that end-game you'll be overleveling most areas anyway. The character screen sheet is also relative to mobs your level, so if you have 70% chance to hit at level 80, since most mobs are level 72, you actually have about 75% chance to hit vs them instead of 70. excellent build , i love the balance and focus...i had a similar build idea and looking over this helped me balance mine...its now very similar to yours but a bit different...main thing is mine was too offensive...thanks for this tread man awesome build

Switched from your Armor/hp build to this, even with substantially lower dps I find this build to outperform the other one by a landslide (level 60 with somewhat average gear). This build seems to be easier for newcomers gear wise.

Tried going this build, everything is moving on nicely, except for the fact that my gear is god damn pathetic.
I haven't found any useful gear for my shadow, and am sitting at a horrible 3xx dps for flicker strike. I'm level 39 btw. Gonna try farming again :/... |

What do you guys think about going south, Picking up Arrow Dodging, another Frenzy charge, and Evasion Rating Per Frenzy charge node. Also Crystal Skin.

" I don't think it's worth it. You would have to go real far out of the way of the rest of the build to get these passives and I just don't see anywhere to pull the points from that would make it worth it. If you're shaving 10 points off of dps nodes for the extra survivability, then I feel like there are way better uses for those nodes (more es and the wealth of nearby shield block nodes come to mind) and if you're shaving 10 points off of other survivability nodes in exchange for those ones, well, just don't do that. Anyone tried this with a claw instead? I know it's a much different build at that point (certainly less about the crits) but I really want to make a end-game CI shadow work in HC. I have altered the build to my tastes and increased the survivability some, but I'm still worried about getting facerolled. ign: weaklygdlk
