I have heard of a rare few succeeding, but in all honesty, I wouldn't recommend this build on HC without the appropriate gear ready. You'll just hit a wall and be stuck there for ages until you get the right gear otherwise

I am 51 successfully using this build in HC. Well, mostly, I've done some slight tweaking to allow for more +Life/+ES/+Resist nodes, but it's very nearly the same. I have come within 100HP of dying more times than I would like to admit, but so far I have had relatively little problem running this build self-find. I guess I've been pretty lucky, but I'm sitting at something like 1.1k HP with 1.3k ES with Discipline on. Dual Strike is like around 550 dps and LS is around 450.

I know the hard stuff starts in the 60s, but based on the progress I've been making so far, I don't really see it being all that impossible. Just be cautious and don't force progression if you don't feel comfortable with the mobs at that level. I think it is worth using this build in HC, 1) because the build is so much fun, and 2) because HC is so much better than SC.

Where would be the best place to farm gear at lvl 45. Im stuck in cruel act 2. I was told to get more hp,res,evasion gear. Right now i dont have any currency.

So I'm kinda finished building my shadow.

The main problem I have is pretty low survivability. I was running last two days a lot of 66-67 maps, and died too often. Today I started re-roll maps to a more secure stats, and things get better. But still, I could already be 2 lvl higher, but losing exp, stuck on 75.

So, please check video, screenshots, and give advises, how to avoid dying.

Ive seen your video and items... I think what youre lacking is Vaal Pact...

How important is Vaal Pact? I am level 65 and just picked up CI not long ago, have Ghost Reaver, have about 3700 buffed Energy Shield and am getting about 4.5k Double Strike and 2k Lightning Strike DPS. I have Life Leech on LS and it seems to heal okay, especially with Blood Rage on, but solo is still a bit harder than party which is super easy. Will Vaal Pact make a noticeable difference in healing speed? Doesn't seem like a lot of people pick it up... is it better than going for that bonus to auras cluster on the skill tree?

I'm at the beginning of act3 cruel, it's hard :/
Any advices to upgrade my stuff in ordrer to go in merciless Ledge xp/ES gear farming ?
I'm pretty poor, only have 2 chaos orb... all my alchemy were wasted in noob crafting. Yes, it's my first character. And yes, I like challenge. ;)
