[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

Well, this was the first build I ever really put a lot of effort toward and I must say once you get a strong weapon the difference feels night and day. I need to find an alternative to the amulet I am using, perhaps a better version of both my headgear and belt.

One thing I have noticed is that despite the stats on Ondar's Clasp, I find it to be an exceptional pair of gloves if you aren't able to get your hands on Maligaro's. It's a perfect item for the CI shadow build, but what do you guys think? This is what I am working with, level 77 Shadow.




Another thing I learned from another post from a user posting his gear here was that Atk speed is a vital attribute to your overall dps, and so if you find two comparable daggers take a look at that attacks per second attribute.

I question whether I should go for the 6 sockets and try to link them on this body, or simply go ahead and leave it as it is, or try to get 5 to transfer my Lightning Strike combo to that slot. I lack some Cold resist in Merciless and I don't run but 3 auras at a time.

What is the high baselevel and high itemlevel?
I have this piece: , itemlevel on this one is 69. I have been thinking about crafting this one (this is f**king impossible to get an decent ES chestpiece with 450+ ES, the guys all wanted like 15 exalteds for one with useless mods).

I have bought this one for 2 GCPs and 1 chaos, but with like 2 sockets. The key is to buy such a chest with shitty sockets, but nice roll on ES. Then the price cannot be too high.

Invalesco i have a question about Bantids Quests Rewards. In Normal i take 1 skill point coz it was best choice, im at Cruel right now i wondering 12% phy dmg vs skill point. I see nodes 16% in skill tree and can't make my mind about it. Could you tell me why you choose 12% in your build?

At Merciless i planing take 1 Frenzy Charge coz in close beta 4 was good but 5 will be very good imo, dmg boost will be better then Endurance Charge i don't know even how long i will use Warlord Marks so aw Frenzy its safer way.

Sunn I am not Ivalesco, but I do happen to have my Shadow deep into Merciless. I chose the 12% phys dmg like the guide said, it's a nice boost to your dps at that point in the game, and I don't see much reason to get a skill point to spend on a node when you could just have the flat dmg at that point.

I also chose to get the frenzy charge reward in Merciless, because when you get the node on the Shadow side of the tree you can stack up to 5 (25% IAS) frenzy charges with your Blood Rage, and it's fantastic for getting a bump in dps once you've winded up your speed.

when using blood rage with CI skill node do we always get the increased attack speed? our life is low 1 hp.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that only life steel works with GR. So things that are life gained on kill as well as life gained on hit, do NOT work.

Yea, Ghost Reaver only applies the Life Leech stat as it's conversion into energy shield. So values that give you Life on Hit and Life on Kills are obsolete with GR.


You will not get the atk speed while hp is low with blood rage, since your Hp is at max 1/1. You do however get the renewal of Blood Rage and when you kill a mob a frenzy stack which -does- increase your attack speed.
