I feel it would have been better to have left the hp and energy shield nodes alone, freeing us up to have less spent on life and more on other defensives or offensive.

Unless he's posting from another account (and I'm wondering why he's hiding his mains), I'm amazed to hear what a lowbie has to say about the life/ES needed endgame :) Just for inormation, a boss from a high level map can do more than 20K DPS with a single AOE (unmitigated). Yes 20K, there are enugh video showing this simple fact. I'd love to see you farming that kind of bosses in HC, where you can lose 5-6K with max resists within 2sec. |

" I'm not sure what your Poestatistics site is, but clearly it doesn't have all players on record if you assume I'm an alt account for not being on it :P. A proper flask to boost your all resist will cut down that damage quite a bit, or proper armor if it's physical damage. It's been working for me, and I've no doubt it will continue to work. EDIT: Just checked the site. Yes, I won't show up on that at this moment, as my Hardcore character was recently deceased. I don't think it's too bad if you play smart, but I think GGG could emphasis defensive builds a little less.

And then, you face bosses doing 20K DPS (<--- read the numbers and feel free to not believe it) with an instant firestrom, and I'd be really happy to see you against them :) 40% defensive nodes is like what ? 3K HP ? Yeah, I'll find it really fun :) |

I've had level 74 characters before, I've played maps. Just 'cause I don't -currently- have a char above level 63 doesn't mean shit.

" Actually he kind proved his point, you said you run 40% defense and its ok ... then you died at lvl 63. You can literally farm in Merc lunaris and not even step into a map and be lvl 75 or higher within 2 weeks. If you did not even make it that far I don't think you should talk at all.
