You mad bro? Footprints as MT? This shouldn't be optional!!! This would have been really a nice thing to increase immersion and you messed it up.

Very cool! Blood or fire trail would be awesome too!

How about some angel and demon wings that one can link to chest armor?? I wouldn't think twice about buying them! :)

I really don't understand all the complaining in this thread; it seems some people don't pay attention. According to recent announcements here's a list of some of the things coming up in patch 0.11.0.

- Cosmetic Footprints effects.
- New Notable Passive Names.
- Monster HP bars.
- The addition of Weathered Carvings to many Act One areas.
- New vendor recipes: one generates a type of currency item that previously had no recipe, the others generate specific new base item types.
- New Unique items for the special base item types.
- New four-month leagues - Anarchy & Onslaught.
- More party loot allocation options.
- Direct melee buffs.
- Re-balance of monster damage.
- Monster HP bars.
- Improved re-sync code.

That looks pretty awesome to me, but there is also the impending "secret awesomeness", yet to be revealed.

And by the way, THANK YOU Chris and all the GGG teams to do all the hard work you're doing for us !! It is really great to have daily news and teaser of what's coming up. Not much of those developers take the time to listen to their fans and take care of them as you're doing. You're really a model to follow in the industry, and I mean not just for video games.
