It allows us to see the health of a mob without having to mouse-over them (or mobs, even better where you can't possibly mouse-over each of them to get an idea)

Sometimes you need to know are they going to die, or should I bail and recharge my ES first.

Certain skills like Freezing Pulse with multiple projectiles, the spread of the projectiles depends on how far your cursor is from your character, so you have to point accordingly to control the spread angle. But that would mean you cannot mouse-over the mob to know their health.

Maybe it doesn't apply to everyone, but for me, the ability to quickly know the health of all mobs helps in my gameplay, it helps with decision making in the heat of the battle.

As I pointed out, just up there, with FP.

To go into a little more detail. Not only do you need to mouse over the boss to see its health, but casting while doing so will lock that target, doing the opposite of mousing over while casting won't show the health. The spread of FP is pointer controlled, but once that target is locked, the distance of the monster then becomes the mouse pointer, as far as pointer controlled distance and pulse spread is concerned.

The only way to undo the spread is to un-target the boss you are facetanking, which means you can't see the health.

This was also an issue with ~facetanking (close combat) a reflect on wander, where ST was out of the question and as little GMP spread as possible is best, while wanting to also see the health.



yep, I wouldnt have wanted health bars on before I started pulsing.

It will also be a good quick indicator of when you are desynced and your hits are not connecting.

dude, this change doesnt effect your game, if it effected your game in a serious way I could understand all the passion in the world but seriously, its optional health bars, sub zero importance factor.

A big part of the difficulty of POE is the fact that you don't have directly damage numbers. Please let it be like it is. Don't make this game casual.

Demage numbers can be used to check demage precisely. I would rather see it as small text info in the screen corner(optional). Floating numbers suck indeed but as long as they are optional, i dont give a damn. Maybe I give just a bit, because hated Blizard's fanboys got what the desired...

Argumentation about being ridiculed by flaoting numbers users is pathetic. Pathetic both for you and for them. What advantage does it make ? You are going to count exactly how much demage mob will reflect? It's self braging fetish mostly, thats all.
