Why am I so poor?

I have found one lvl 72 map...ever.
Current best map in my stash:

I start with a Lunaris run, maybe a catacomb run, collect 2 nice spectres, then start on maps.
I can do 3-4 ,maps a night, and despite all that grinidng, i will usally get
zero Exalted
zero Divine
one of GCP or Regal
one chaos
a few leser orbs
one crappy unique I can't even sell.

I spend my chaos on lvl 69 maps, but I lose out on that every time.

What the heck am I doing wrong?

Traders. All they do is trade. They don't find those items, they trade for them. Make good trades and you'll get richer. Make poor trades and you wont.

I personally don't trade at all... either as buyer or seller. I did that once and it becomes a full time job quite quickly. I have a job. I don't need another.

You're poor because you don't build to be rich. IIR + IIQ gear is how people make a crapton of cash. I know that's how I started to "get ahead"; I'm self-found for the most part, but only after I traded for one particular IIQ item to make things speed along. No regrets.

Still, that makes me a traitor to myself I guess since I did trade for one item and one gem.
