Season Two, Event 180: 2 Hour Cutthroat Party

This league has Cutthroat and Hardcore enabled, when you die to enemies of any type you will be moved to Default league.

A summary of hardcore Cutthroat rules:
  • This is a separate short-duration league that has its own stash (as usual). At the end of the event, characters and stashed items will be moved to Hardcore.
  • There's a PvP damage multiplier because players start with a lot more life than they do damage. This multiplier will be adjusted substantially based on feedback from this event and others.
  • Players are hostile by default to players who are not in their party.
  • You can ctrl+click on the entrance to an area to use the Instance Management screen to manually enter any other player's instance of an area.
  • Cut-throat instances can hold a maximum of 12 players.
  • This is a hardcore league. When you die, you will be moved to default league, you lose the normal experience penalty for your difficulty plus 30% of your current level. You also drop all inventory and equipped items. Your flasks, skill gems (even ones in your inventory) and quest items are not dropped.
  • If you were killed by another player, your lost experience is split among their party.
  • If you attempt to abruptly leave the game in a non-town instance, you have to wait 5 seconds and are unable to move or use flasks.
  • The grace period of invulnerability upon entering an area is 20 seconds. This should start once the player is mostly done loading.
  • Non-partied players only show up on the map if they're nearby.
  • There are no notifications for players joining or leaving areas.
  • Portals cannot be used until they have been up for five seconds.
  • You cannot apply microtransaction effects to items in cut-throat. You may dance and have pets.

What did I just read?

sorry quite messy sentence there im asking they do CT solo event more often compare to party event for me CT in party ain't thrill enough some just survive because of help from party member more then they own playing skill
I would hate to play through it, but if rewards were given for most kills, it would be interesting to read. I would only predict Terraces trolls for Act 1, one hour races.

One would argue there is even more complexity and skill involved when engaging in a team fight.

No offence, but your posts could use some punctuation ;)
Take care out there.

Another fun cutthroat event. Made level 8 and was hunting a lower level guy when three lvl14s popped out and took us down. Heard flicker strike twice and it was game over. Truly good times.

Any AU/SGers out there with voice comms that would like to team up? Send a PM. :)

Will they end up adding lvl restrictions, hate getting one shot on terraces by a lvl 15+

Our party got cut down by one player with flicker strike, something needs to change imo
Parties are pretty useless, amirite?
Chased and killed from the start, our party had 50+ kills by the 1:30 mark. One of us finally died and the other went afk, so i solod a few kills then called it a day as the instances were all empty aside from a few wp campers.

Good times!

MVP:

Edit 1: Would be nice if we couldnt target teammates and enemy portals. Annoying stuff during combat.

Edit 2: These events could use a hard cap on progression, like cant enter gate in a 1hour and cant enter a2 in a 2hour. The instances tend to get pretty barren near the end, not to mention too much disparity between players makes for poor duels.

Edit 3: The instance system often fails too, putting me into new zones when i go to join my teammates.
