[New Microtransactions] Things we whould pay for

The idea behind this thread is to list possible microtransaction additions that we (consumers) would like to pay some bucks for.

Edit: If you like/dislike a microtransaction you can Quote a post with +1 or -1. Preferably with a motivation. If there is enough interest for this thread i can update this post with a summary of top contendors (by vote).

Below are some of my suggestions to start things off.

Name: Hovering/Flying character
Added on: Character

Description: The character models legs doesnt touch the ground. The walking animation is replaced with a "hovering legs" animation. The character flies or "hovers" just slightly above the ground. Possibly you could add some magic vortex circulating the legs. Note that the character does NOT fly like "superman", but rather "hovers" like a vampire or lich, just above ground.
Suggested price: 400 points (A big investment but we dont want every level 1 character to be flying around)

Name: Demonic shield

Description: Basically the same effect that you can add to your helmet but now its also available for your shield. Many horns sprout from the shield in different directions. Maybe a demon head or a toungue is in the center of the shield.

Description: A robe which covers the legs of the user. The cloth sways in the wind and the faster the character moves the more the cloth is pushed back behind the bearer. Comes in different colors and some are more "plain" while some other are extravagant. (Concept is an example of extravagant version)

I love your ideas.
However the prices are very questionable.
400 Points? That is roughly 40€ for a purely cosmetic effect.
Don't get me wrong. I love the idea of combining F2P with purchasable cosmetics.
But 40€?! I would pay 15, maybe 20€ but not more. Not under any circumstances.
The prices for microtransactions in PoE are I_N_S_A_N_E already. Let us not give them the impression we agree on them.

BTT: I will contribute when I run across something that I think you guys might like :)

Edit: What would be really nice were matching cosmetic effects.
Say you wan't to create a vampire type character.
You would be able to purchase... glowing red eye, a blood soaked robe, floating ability and probably effects that turn your spells into blood spells.
Of course you wouldn't have to purchase all at once but could decide what effects match your theme.

Name: Glowing eyes

Decription: The effect would either be added on a helmet or on the character itself.
It would give your character bright glowing eyes. You could either change the color depending on the theme you would like to create or different color effects could be purchasable. Two versions are imaginable: 'plain' glowing eyes, or eyes burning/bursting with energy.
Suggested price: 100 points


Name: Blood Magic (yea same as the keystone, but can't think of a different name right now)

Decription: Gives the enhanced spell 'Extra Gore' aswell as a custom blood-based spell effect. For example Frost Nova would be replaced by a wave of blood and gore. Fireball would be replaced by a burning blood-soaked skull exploding in a blood rain on impact.

True, they are high. I based my scale of the already existing transactions (Demon helmet being 240 points i believe). Maybe "Extra gore" could be a microtransaction, even though its a keyword on some items i don't think people whould consider it "pay2win"... hopefully :)

I'm sure I would buy a bandit-reward change for my L82 if it was an option,

Name: Portal Skins

Description: Changes the default blue portal to other looks; would stand out a lot during party play. A red hell portal would be the cheapest option (pretty much a reskin, concept picture above). Another might be a moldy tree trunk with the Fetid Pool fog billowing out of it. I'm sure even cooler ideas could be thought up.
Suggested price: 20 for red, up to 250 for something mind-blowingly amazing.

cockroach zombie skin

Not taking credit for this idea because it was posted below by another reddit user, but I thought it was a kick ass idea. Basically a whole slew of microtransactions to "pimp your lab". Various items that you can buy to fill your eternal laboratory and make it unique to you, because since it's the endgame you will see it quite often, and so will all of your friends. If you make the instance, your lab loads for you and your party members so you can show off your bling.

Things that were mentioned include various pieces of furniture from other acts like the torture devices in lunaris, and possibly curtains made to look like the curtain mobs. Also various carpets or blood pools, the statues that look like statue mobs (possibly with an emote where they move around?), make the portals to your map look different (like the portal to piety), etc...........

I thought it was an awesome idea and people would want to buy it because of how much time is spent in the lab and how all of your friends would see it.
