[1.0.5] Lightning Strike Staff Crit Templar Build - 17k+ DPS - Dual Curse
" It's only expensive to get a really good weapon. Kaom's Heart is also expensive but not required at all.
Thoughts on the Taming unique ring? should work absolute wonders no?
Here are the stats: (8 to 10)% to all Elemental Resistances 15% increased Elemental Damage with Weapons +(10 to 18)% to all Elemental Resistances 15% increased Elemental Damage 5% chance to Freeze, Shock and Ignite 10% increased damage per Freeze, Shock and Ignite on enemy
I've noticed that your build in the video doesn't really align with the build on this post. You take EB and inner force in the vid. But it's not shown in the build link provided. Also EB still won't help you take all those aura's without reduced mana reserve nodes.
% reserve is going to take a huge chunk out regardless. The bigger your mana pool 42% is still 42% regardless of your mana being at 400 or 4000. You could just use a blood magic support for Clarity and factor that cost out of reservation. The only problem arises in that the majority of your listed auras are now % reserved. Which leaves you with a choice of taking Anger and Wrath for a DPS boost or your can take one of those and Determination for armor. Or Vitality if your have really nice gear and high resists. Which leaves the question if you say you are still running 4+ auras your posted build isn't updated or something is different in the gear you are currently using. Other than that it's still a great build although I disagree with Multistrike it's dangerous with reflect mobs since you have to commit 3 strikes without the chance to cancel. Better I think to go with lightning pen or crit support gems.
Anybody care to comment if this build is viable on Nemesis?

" Risky, but i'd say yes. Focus on getting life when leveling. Get those crit nodes when you are in a comfortable position gear/life wise. Reflect will still be a problem, so you just have to be careful. Life leech is a higher priority when linking. IGN: Squid

Guys the video is pre-release.Lots of things have changed since then...
To crit or not to crit ?
| |
Work with this? also want to try ST crit
and I don´t know if is good this one... thanks Wise words buff -> balance <- nerf , need to happen , deal with it
|
|
That's a 436 pdps staff without quality so it's a pretty awesome
staff to begin with... To crit or not to crit ?
| |
if you want to play a smoother, easier und less expensive staff ls templar you can get resolute technique and blood magic instead of crit and mana.

Maybe, I missed the reasoning, but why do we use Discipline aura?
I'm 56 and trying to prioritize auras and gear. Not sure if I should be going flat AR, AR/ES, or AR/EV. Last edited by jackitos on Dec 7, 2013, 3:59:37 PM
