" The regen I have now works fine. If you didn't know, the regen is based on es and the burn is based on life. I'm not sure if I'm going to go crit. I tried a dagger with good global/spell crit chance and a increased crit support gem and didn't get many more crits. Maybe I'll go for shield nodes for ele resist so I don't need to worry about resists on rings. Edit: Or maybe I could grab some minion nodes. Maybe Minions would help protect me from chaos dmg on maps. much better build and starting area, also frees up ammy spot for more iir/iiq, ur build is extremely inefficient with all those fire dmg nodes and useless mana nodes, when the burning dmg nodes would increase ur damage much more. RF isn't burning damage, its a life degen. So burning damage nodes will not affect its damage to you.

A cool idea indeed, Righteous Fire and Pain Attunement definitely counter the lack of Damage/Burning bonus from Searing Touch well, perhaps even the lack of Additional Frenzy Charges. I believe straight up damage can end up considerably higher than a regular Burning Discharger's.
However, Item Rarity and Quantity modifiers are not applied to mobs that die to burning - this also applies to the burning ground from Fire Trap, only the initial "burst" applies IIQ & IIR. And as such, for Magic Finding purposes I would highly recommend you Swap; Flammability for Elemental Weakness Chance to Ignite for Increased Area of Effect Increased Burning Damage for Concentrated Effect Elemental Proliferation for Fire Penetration or Quantity or Rarity (just examples that came to mind) I see a number of downsides that unfortunately make this build not at all viable for anything other than Magic Finding in Standard League or perhaps Hardcore League Docks & Lunaris; Extremely Costly due to Shavronne's Wrappings and the need for a fair amount of Chaos Resistance if you want to do more than just Docks and Lunaris. Also as such you cannot take advantage of Frenzy Charges until you do have a Shavronne's Wrappings, and you would need an absurd amount of Chaos Resistance and Life Regeneration to make it useable. (assuming Blood Rage would leech ~4% of your ES instead of Life with Shavronne's?) Survivability, no Iron Reflexes, no Unwavering Stance - Eye of Chayula helps with the Stun Immunity (not available for Onslaught though) but in high-ish maps you would get annihilated as is. Frankly I'm surprised you made it through Lunaris in one piece - you did drop very low at times though. Keep in mind in most Maps you're looking at easily up to 10 times the Monster Pack Size you're encountering in Lunaris and in order to be effective you're going to want to to get into the middle of the brawl for at least a moment, espescially if you do decide to get rid of the proliferated burning for magic find purposes. Reflected Damage is partly countered with high Fire Resistance due to Rise of the Phoenix. However due to the very high initial damage I still highly doubt even with a Ruby Flask you could Discharge into a large reflect or double reflect pack, let alone with curses and shock stacks up like you mindlessly can with Vaal Pact. Boss Killing is very awkward and tedious as a Discharge build unless you proliferate a strong burn from a weaker mob. Keep in mind you can't have the boss die from a burn of any kind if you want your Quantity and Rarity to be applied so you're either looking at adding a Culling Strike IIR IIQ Ability such as Firestorm or Flame Totem or a very long loop of Enduring Cry and Discharging. Most Burning Dischargers use a switch weapon for Fireball+LMP+X+Y+Z but even this isn't exactly the pinnacle of single target DPS. Skill Points, I feel that you're wasting a ton of them on nodes that don't really contribute to the build a whole lot. You should really consider a build similar to a "regular" Burning Discharger such as this. Thanks for the advice. I'd like to point out some things though. The reason my ES dips so low is because I don't have much. My gear is pretty crappy MF gear. It's good enough for non map farming and that's what it's used for for now. The reason I don't die though is because my molten shell pops for 20745-31118 damage. That's an average of 2282 leech from a single target. It's handy for bosses like Piety. Maybe fire nodes are not so bad after all. With that x10 you'd be wasting a lot of leech that would be gone with instant recovery(VP). My fire traps hit for 7785-11677 with mf gems. That's plenty enough to 2 shot most rares. With fire pen and conc effect it's much more powerful.
I need to make a video of discharging on a reflect pack. I take about 200 dmg if I ruby flask. I don't know why people keep mentioning Onslaught and Anarchy when it's almost over. And also I've rolled some good pack size mods with my main toon but I've never seen 1000% increased pack size because that's what 10 times means :-D |

I don't get it.
If this is a farming build why use an ability that doesn't work with IIR/IIQ gems. Thats 43% IIQ and 67% IIR less just from the gems. Also how you gonna cull anything in groups?
