This is a really cool build and with elemental proliferation you'll apply that DOT to everything in the area.

Even if the monster has 60% resists;
the initial hit would do 341*1.3 = 443
the burn would do 192*5

Total then would be 443+192*5 = 1403

your only real enemies would be curse immune monsters.

If your calculations are correct then a curse immune monster with somewhat high resists say 50% would take
the base amount 341+205*5
Anything on top of 50% would reduce the burn damage twice as much.

Good point. The resistance thingy works the other way around, of course. That's actually why people started complaining about this mechanic. They said some monsters die really easily but then some would take forever to kill. Of couse they didn't think about the possibility of EE which luckly is not a curse, hehe.

And one more comment about elemental proliferation. I tend to prefer this over multiple projectiles simply because it does more single target damage and thus more burn. My concern is though, that the initial hit is also quite effective and the monster might not be burning his friends for very long before evaporating. So we'll see, maybe MP will prove to be more comfortable.

correct me if i'm wrong but you have to crit to have a burning effect from a fire attack/spell. In that case isn't EE more of a problem than anything else?
EE?

Burning arrow as about 20%, ignit support gem 30% abd elemental weakness like 15% chance to ignit. That should be enough to set them on fire within 2-3 shots ... unless I miss. Crit chance goes on too of that, but it's pretty low in comparison

Edit: and what if the enemy base resist was 10%? -50% of that does not weight much
EE?

again, they would get -40%, so the total burn damage is muliplied by 1.4^2. I find that significant. Also elemental weakness can lower it further.
btw. this build is pretty miro intensive, i believe.

edit: let me gat this straight: the plan is to hit with clod+lightning, then hit with a 3 element attack for 5 secondes after that so the fire part would benefit EE?

yupp, and I'm pretty sure, +45% buff/debuff duration gives you about 2 more seconds (but that's not confirmed)
