Infinite Loading Screen

Howdy folks,
I've had to restart my game about 10-15 times ever since the update. It will go into an infinite loading screen. This happens when I open a map and try to go in and it also happens when I finish the map and try to exit. This is for POE 2 just to be clear. You are not alone, I have one character that I cant play at all. Seems to be Act 3 related for me at least.

Im having the same problem since this morning. I uninstalled and re installed the game but still having the same problem. I tried with a guest profile and it work but Im still having tjhe same issue now

Same issue here. Have to force quit the game repeatedly until eventually it works. But it burns up all my portals.

same here, everytime you surface for trade or sell items etc.. and you try to take portal again, the loading screen get stuck in a forever loop. you have to quit game and sometimes it works and sometime it does not.. it happened after new patch.. extremely annoying.

Same issue here i get to character select and sometimes i get to my hideout sometimes i just get the gears loading other times ill be able to complete a map but try to go back to hideout and get stuck on the gears loading screen.
I've tried the following with no success 1. tried direct x11 and vulkan 2. reinstalled the game 3. used steam launcher rather than poe2 launcher and vice versa with fresh installs 4. deleted the config file 5. set the graphics to the minimum despite having a monster computer just started happening today game is unplayable 6. I've rebooted my system and checked for various system updates 7. the only way to shut the game down is ctrl+alt+del or to right click the game tab and select close Alt F4 does not work System specs: MSI b650 Pro Carbon wifi MOBO Ryzen 9 7950x 16 core proc 128 gb ddr5 ram Ryzen rx 7900 XTX gpu 40TB nvme storage+ 20TB HDD Last edited by Cerne#3349 on Mar 29, 2025, 12:00:16 AM
