You have been detected cheating message.

Had the same message like everybody in this thread. Now I understand it's caused by the patch for ultrawide monitors.

There are 2 concerns:

1. playing ultrawide shouldn't be considering as cheating, this is stupid af. What kind of advantage over other player do we get while playing 32:9? We just want to play the game without that ugly black bars at sides. May you start considering players with 4090 as cheaters? eventually we get more FPS (and its stable) than average player so we have an advantage, right?

2. Before I found this thread and understood the message is cause by the ultrawide patch, I tried to contact the support team. I highlighted to them that I do not use any cheating software and asked to investigate the root cause. I paid for the early access to support GGG and do not want to lose my account because of their stupid anti-cheat detector that generates false positives. The support team simply wasn't able to provide any information about the root caused and wasn't able to assist. It was like "we're not giving this kind of information to player", but I am pretty sure they literally do not now what's happening and why their anti-cheat may flag anyone as a cheater. This is inacceptable, we all paid you for the service and we do buy the fucking supporter packs and so on. You should appreciate your early access supporter.

I was thinking about to buy another one pack of coins to get more stash tabs, but after all I won't do it for sure. There always be a risk to be banned and lose everything due to some stupid anti-cheat detector rules.

I suppose it would be more efficient to open threads at reddit instead of opening support tickets, because nobody gives af about it while its somewhere in the internal ticket system.

I have been using Reshade for many years with Poe 1 and in Poe 2. GGG this is not a cheat, your anti-cheat has gone crazy.

Yep, same problem for me. Using the UW fix on GitHub and will probably get banned over this on my ten year old account after putting hundreds of dollars into it. This is absolute bullshit. No one gets an advantage by having some more pixels left and right in a mostly single player game. Even in the race events it would not give a significant advantage.

It is a sad excuse for not being able to offer it themselves. It is glitchy anyway most of the times because they obviously didn’t want to support it fully, which is mind blowing. It is 2025, not offering super ultrawide is absolutely unacceptable. Flagging people for fixing it themselves is insane.

I took a long break from PO2 to not get burnt out sand i sank a ton of hrs and bought multiple supporter packs and tier options. I game on ultrawide
Logged into today to get this same message. googled and found this thread. adding my 2 cents to this thread.. I want this fixed I'm not cheating with an ultrawide mod this needs to be fixed.

Either please revamp the anti cheat software
or add native 32:9 support

i have 49" ultrawide monitr and ive used that fullscreen fix for the game. and game gave me "cheat using warning" because of that....


deleted ultrawide fix and warning gone...

I keep getting this warning every time I log in to Path of Exile 2.

I'm running Windows 10, the only things running in the background is Avast,Tinywall,Keyscrambler,Discord and Nvidia Overlay.

Not sure why it's happening.

Update: I disabled Keyscrambler and I stopped getting the warning for now, It's an anti key logger software.

Same message. I also have a 49 inch ultrawide monitor but I am not running any mods, software to change resolutions, and have even dropped the resolution down to 3840x1080 and still getting this message.

I have been a regular player and financial supporter of this game since PoE 1 beta and have sunk 100's of $$$$ into GGG.

This is completely unacceptable.

THEY NEED TO AT LEAST ADDRESS THE ISSUES, even if they don't fix them.

Where are you GGG? I would like to play your game and possibly even spend more money while doing it. Address this ridiculousness please!

***EDIT: Even dropping it down to 1080P (1920x1080) did not clear the warning message.

What other third-party software are you running? It doesn't just throw up that warning because of your monitor size/resolution.
