Mac client broken.... again... still....

Come on GGG.
Do you really want to loose all your loyal mac players??

Having to play with the /dnd workaround for the last 4-5 months without being able to use trading is bad enough.

Now, after the latest small update the game won't even open.

Message: Path of exile.app is damaged and cannot be opened.
The usual workaround of deleting the "update.dat" file and restarting does not work either.

Get you head out of your... you know where.... and start fixing these issues!!!!

Do not delete.

Go to your Apple menu, 'System Settings' and u should find POE in the bottom of the 'Privacy and Security' section. Open from there.

There is no POE in my 'Privacy and Security' section.
Did U tried to force open with holding 'option' button in the app folder?

I installed it today. I had the same error as U and couldn't get the file to open. It turned out that it was blocked by the system. Perhaps reinstalling will help U.

I remember that i deleted the POE cache folder before that, so maybe that was crucial in that case? U will find it in /Library/Caches, should be called com.GGG.PathOfExile
same for me (on M3)

I tried open from the 'Privacy and Security' section but still the same error
me too

Not working for me either...
My M4 Max also cannot start properly after today's update, and I’ve tried many methods found on Google but nothing works."
it works with disabling SIP, it's the solution I found...

- csrutil disable

- launch the update

- and don't forget to re-enable => csrutil enable
