They have never rerolled a strongbox, never filled out Pantheon, never completed a map with +10 mods, never crafted a jewel with 4 mods via alch, never killed the map version of Maligaro*, yet somehow filled out their entire Atlas and killed Maven.

*(This means they completed their Atlas when Core Map wasn't on it anymore.)

Does that make sense to anyone? Not trying to shame here, it's just all so confusing to me.

PoE1 is superior to PoE2 in almost every way and I say that as a person who used to hate PoE1 for how clunky and bloated it is.

they could use all that feedback for poe2 also...they just dont care what people want. literally none of the feedback people gave over the years was applied to peo2

These campaign players coming in and telling us how much better PoE 2 is than PoE 1, while most of the long time players view the endgame as 99% of the game. There is always an excuse; "endgame was rushed", "it's EA, chill" and "it will get better". I'm not here to discuss that, of course the game will improve. But AS OF NOW, PoE 1 is a far better game than PoE 2, and of course it is, it has been "perfected" for over a decade.

Anyhow, I'm an endgame player. I know that the campaign will feel "old" in a few months, so I will never use the campaign as a "pro" for PoE 2. Until the PoE 2 endgame can compete with the PoE 1 endgame, PoE 1 will be the superior game in my eyes. And looking at their design decisions (map layouts, towers, no player agency, tediousness of boosting maps and so on), an endgame that can compete with PoE 1's endgame is YEARS away.

Best thing GGG can do is shut down the PoE 1 servers and migrate everything officially to PoE 2.
