There is a confirmation box. If you need an extra layer of security, put an item with an mtx on that character which will prevent you from deleting it.
Free mtx currently available would be this one: given away by Alienware here If a family member or a friend has access to your computer uncheck the "save login details" box. Exit, pursued by a Plummeting Ursa.
