Spell damage.

No. Your weapon has no affect on your spells unless it has certain mods on it.

the only things that will change my freezing pulse is the elemental damage. Physical damage and attack speed are separated from spell damage and cast speed.

Gotcha, thanks. Makes more sense than the D3 system.
So is flickering strike, dual strike or fire trap a spell? I mean will + spell damage boost these skills?
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes; after that, who cares?! He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!
The best rule I've seen is as follows:

If a skill's pop up says "cast speed", it's a spell.

If it say "attack speed", it's an attack.

it would be nice if they could mark which are spells / skills more distinctly for us, it doesnt lose complexity, just solves headache.

btw i had a question.. lets say "sparks" spell. does it use spell damage combined with lightning damage or just one / another ?

They add up. Just like increased physical damage, increased physical damage with one-handed weapons, increased physical damage while dual wielding and increased physical damage with swords would stack if you were to use a sword.

Actually, all skills have Attack as a keyword, and all spells have Spell as a keyword :)
Sorry to bump an old thread but question.

If you dual wield wands, both have increase spell damage 15%, does that stack to 30% increase on spells like fireballs, ice spear, etc...?
