I use exatly the same build with freezing pulse (life leech, LMP, PCOC, faster castlng and faster projectiles) and destroy anything up to lv75 maps with any mods other then blood magic (i switch faster projectiles for mana leech in no regen maps). Tooltip dps is 19k with 8 powercharges thanks to void battery.

Freezing pulse is much better than EK in my opinion soley because of reflect damage.
The most you can do with EK against reflect is pop a granite flask and stack armor(which is hard with using ES gear) then pray Using freezing pulse its cold resistance you worry about. and with inner force you will have 85% cold resistance. with 85% mitigation you can faceroll reflect maps with out even thinking about it (turn off righteous fire) (this is coming from some one who had 8-12k dps tooltip for GMP and still laughed at reflect mobs) In addition, those who are actually using freeze pulse. Added chaos damage is a much better gem than added lightning. Not only does it do WAY more damage, it lets you leech life off of ES based mobs which makes face tanking peity much easier. also dont get started on shock stacks. when you do this much damage it doesnt matter IGN: Crotchless Last edited by rsantama#4923 on May 31, 2013, 7:07:21 PM

" This build is for any spells, pick the one you like :) i like EK because i play in SC so reflect deaths mean nothing and i always liked the look of the spell. this guide looks good but where do you get your mana from? and can i stack iir and iiq with this build like wondertrap and andvarius rings? how much dps would you have left?

" A lot of mana is gained from rainbowstrides, but you can get the same amount and even more mana than me if you just get 2 decent mods on rings/amulet, the rest is from the passives and high int, the regeneration comes again from passives and gear, i prefer using mana regen rather than mana leech that way you free up a link. Of course you can use it for MF-ing and it works very well too, you have high base resists from passives, i am overcapped by around 40% to all resistances with purity on so you can wear 2 andis without problems, you will sacrifice mana regen though so try to MF with a lower cost spell like Spark+fork. With IIR/IIQ gems your dps would be lower for certain spells, depends on what you want to use, but since the builds has a high crit chance and mutliplier you can still kill anything without problems. well thanks for answer. would like to use EK with wondertrap, andvari and MF gems linked in shavronne can you tell me how to link the gems? EK-life leech-iir-iiq-faster casting?.

i'm wondering the same thing. if es nodes are less effective but base hp rates remain unchanged wouldn't that have a negative impact on rf users? especially for players who took few to no hp nodes.
