So if u have it activated on steam can u still play it via the GGG client? is it account bound in the end?

It's all tied to your GGG account. I have two buttons to generate Steam and Epic keys, and of course I can use my account to play on the standalone launcher.

You can also link your Steam and GGG accounts and buy it on Steam, for example; it will show up in your GGG account.

The keys only allow you to download the client from Steam/Epic.

Can you get the steam one as well? So you utlize steam bandwidth and server as well instead of just yours?

Not sure what you mean ... you can download both, but they'd be separate installations - otherwise you'd completely mess up your files :P

I don't get the second part. It's your bandwidth anyway, whether Steam or GGG sends you the data. Don't know where GGG hosts their files, but usually they'd be on one of the big content distribution networks. Both of which should individually saturate your download speed (unless you've got a majestic 10+ GBit/s line :-)
