Wow that stupid. What difference does it make if I made the purchases before or after the packs came out. You're still getting the money. Atleast announce that way before packs come out.

One thing to add to faq is how to give someone else your extra keys. It says redeem on the path of exile website but no link. If i give them the key will it also unlock the client on lets say steam or is it for epic? How does it know which path of exile account its attached to? Anyone know?

Question about Extra Keys:

I bought the top pack on the website (with 4 keys), and want to gift a key to my friend who is on Xbox series x. How do I go about doing this?

He has never played on steam or epic, and will not have them connected to his profile.

He will have the xbox associated with his poe account.

Will the system automatically let him redeem it for the xbox, or only steam and epic?

it goes like this...
1. you log into poe website (i chose the steam option)
2. on this website, mouse over "shop" and click "redeem key" at the bottom of the popup.
3. enter your key as prompted.

then...
4. click your account name in top left "logged in as...",
5. then your overview shows your profile, on the right is a link for "poe2 early access" click that.
6. there you can get steam / epic activation codes for the account you've redeemed the key for.

- for steam, the "add a game" button in the bottom left of steam client will give you 3 options. choose the 2nd option "activate a product on steam" and enter that steam code. then restart steam and search your steam library for poe2, it will be listed but uninstalled at the moment.

- for epic...idk precisely but same method.
