Path of Exile 3.26 Expansion Timeline

So much for "Poe 2 will not affect Poe 1".
I'm confused about the decision, why not further delay poe 2 instead of interfering in such a big way with poe 1 ?
But wait, I already got bored and completely finished settlers achieves, does that mean no more poe until 2025? thats super upsetting...

i always valued the consistency behind the releases...
this kinda feels like a slap in the face ngl

Got a few questions about this line:
"By participating in this event you'll be able to play the Settlers league, in Standard, Hardcore, Solo Self-Found and Solo Self-Found Hardcore, with a fresh economy and a ladder reset."

1. Do you mean Standard HC, Standard SSF, Standard SSF HC?
2. So, I will need to create a new character, but will I have access to my Standard stash?

Nope. By Standard they meant Softcore. They use this term often which is super confusing.
One league every 3 months to two leagues a year....
"PoE 2 will not effect PoE1" The first of perhaps many things we will see to be false.

GGG: "Poe 2 won't affect Poe 1 release"
GGG: "wops, my bad! here's a new mtx and a boost."

Two big L's in a row
this is not setting a good scene for poe 2, nor for the prospect of the future of poe 1.

this is a really disconnected decision.
It's understandable why this event is being released as such and why we receive a mystery box as a reward.

I want to request Battle Royale mode to be enabled once again for the weekends during this holiday to add a bit of extra fun.

Even the idea that Chris Wilson had about it back when it was conceived where devs were not allowed to put more than 1 day of work into it, what about slapping a few past league mechanics together and allowing players to have fun?

Think of enabling the Blood Crucible from Scourge league(although it conflicts with Heist Trinkets' location) alongside Crucible's forge in tandem with The Lantern of Arimor, or a spiced-up version of Endless Delve with random encounters from The Maven, Conquerors, and Guardians, similar to how Valdo maps work with those encounters.

Sirgog had a few interesting event ideas for the holiday and they are worth considering, there's still time for changes! Or as Mark said during Settlers' content reveal livestream "There's still time to make changes, we're not going to stop, we still have 1 week left" or so were his words during the Q&A with ZiggyD.

Overall I'm not so content with the event design as it's a minuscule adaptation of two leagues into one, and remember, the Lantern of Arimor wasn't well received by the community for being forced onto everyone.

Cheerios~
We should start a petition thread to have this decision overturned, if you're going to delay poe2, then give us new fresh poe1 league, you're pushing away your returning players..

you promise us poe2 would never delay or interfere with poe1 leagues and decide with some internal discussion that this is the very first thing you will do with poe2?

this leaves a very sour taste in my mouth, and im sure many other players agree with me, you can't just throw 2 league mechanics together from past leagues as some patch to try to appease the player base... its insulting, especially after the promises made to us.

not to mention poe2 is a paid to participate beta, so most players are stuck waiting till the new year to resume playing? abit harsh, merry christmas from GGG i guess.

i feel like the player base has become quite spoiled and entitled by how great this game and its support has been for the past decade.

a ggg poe1 legaue has as much or more (usually more) going for it as every update any other arpg receives in a year. were so spoiled by how insane the release cadence is and how much content we get for this game, honestly.

theyre making poe2, this is happening once in a decade, can we all just get some perspective and recognise that once in 10 years we can deal with a league lasting twice as long as usual? a league that has path of exile 2 dropping right in the middle of it btw, in a 6 month period we only got 1 league and AN ENTIRE NEW GAME...

people not interested in poe2? i mean what are people even talking about. what is the chance another 3 month league would have added something as interesting as trying out an entirely new game with a whole campaign, 100 new bosses, all new maps, maps bosses, skills, 12 classes, thats not something ur interesting in playing vs playign the same poe1 weve been playing for 11 years with a new league mechanic? that you would all probably moan about anyway?

come on guys. once every 10 years you can deal with the game only being twice as good as every other arpg and not the usual 4x as good. its for a good cause and these devs are putting in mad work over there, pouring their heart and souls into the biggest game release of their careers. how about just give them a break and some encouragement?

Didn't Chris say one of the best pieces of advice he got was from Krip, to keep to a ridged schedule or see your numbers drop. Judging by everyones feeling in this thread. That's exactly what's gonna happen.
If you critique this game and its problems your post will be removed.

In a news thread about sound i asked "Why did it take multiple leagues to fix the sound on console?". Then got put on probation by Kane the sound guy! This is who GGG are!
