5 and 6 slot map device

i've now done another 10 boss maven invitation (the t14+ one), i've switched hideouts to create a new map device, i've done multiple relogs and i have 5/5 for atlaspassives Mavens's Invitation: The Atlas, i don't have any of the special maven groups done but those shouldnt be necessary right?

Shouldn't need them. Not sure, there is a post of a similar problem from a few days ago with no solution. They have 5th but can't get 6th even though also done what you are saying.

If this is a really really old standard character it could be a character state problem. People have had issues in the past with 5+ year old characters that were solved by making a new one.

So if he makes a new character in standard league it might update the state?

Dont think the current character can be fixed in any way if he is doing the correct 10 way and non valdos tier 17 map.

Yeah I see. You may be right. Doesn't sound like he will be able to try that with time constraints.

yeah that does make sense, but my only 2 functional characters in standard rn are both quite old, might have to update my character from scourge and hope thats recent enough, otherwise i just wont have the time to do a new one

In Standard, I'd had a 5-slot map device from when it required running a 4-way Domain of Endless Conflict. I also had a 5-slot map device in Necropolis, where it required completing a T17 map.
I went to Standard earlier and unlocked my 6th slot with a T17 map, so it may be the case that if you already had a 5-slot map device in Standard from when it required a 4-way, that it counted as having that slot from the Maven's Atlas invitation. Do you happen to remember which T17 maps you've completed? People have been reporting issues where they kill the boss in Abomination but don't get the "Map Complete" label above the map's modifiers, or any challenge progress/etc that'd come with completion. |

" i've never done a 4 way before, the t17 i did was a mesa, i specifically checked for the map completed icon before leaving, and i got the foil reward afterwards aswell. poe wiki doesnt show mesa as a t17 but they exist on trade, i'll try to do one of the ones that are on wiki. |

" If a T17 map has a foil reward, that is a Valdo's map, and won't count for unlocking the map device slot. The T17s for the map device slot are all new map areas that have never been on the Atlas. The map boss is guaranteed to drop fragments for an uber boss fight. |
