I've got 20+ characters in standard most of which i use regularly, aside from tree wipes many of them are completely busted because of the recent changes and need to be redone from scratch. That's probably a few weeks of work in POB ahead of me. Doesn't happen too often thankfully. Even as a standard player you can't fully escape the ever changing game sadly.

GGG kill too many Standard build by changing the mod of the unique item, or like adding a cap to max res, so that Standard is more like a graveyard that you can occasionally dig out dead build and sold it for new build, or fuse with all your legacy item to become a new one

Yes, an unexpected skill tree reset is why I like to save builds in Path of Building and PoE Planner.
