all my standard chars are trashed

logged into standard for something and my characters are all trashed. 0 points allocated on the tree. WTF? do i seriously need to put all points in again? please tell me there is a way to auto do it. i dont have all my skill tree's memorized. i dont remember what points i had.

since when? i never had to do this before

happens sometimes after they do a rework of the passive skill tree in a somewhat larger scale.

Usually you get and option if you want to respect or not, but I think when there are major changes you may need to. The reason I believe is sometimes there are major changes to the tree. I'm guessing this character was from some leagues ago?

no it was from last league. necropolis. i tried others too.

do you not get this pop up on standard?

No, I get a different message on my necropolis characters, which is the optional one. My tree is in tact, but I can do a full reset if I wish.

I'm guessing the difference is maybe some of the nodes on your tree were change is the last patch so it does full rest automatically if it cant build the whole tree, or maybe the reset all passive option was selected somehow.

Other than that I don't know why it would be different. I've heard other people say this as well. I know it can be a annoyance for people who didn't want to change their tree and may not remember exactly how it went and just want to play on the character. Having the free reset is necessary so people don't get stuck when there are changes. Patch updates are going to interfere with builds sometimes though.

I've had that popup on a few characters only, most were ok. It just depends on what builds they were and their skill trees.

i checked 6 chars and 5 of them had a wipe...oh well :/

Maybe they can improve this. Like when it is reset fully they give a snapshot of the old tree somehow so you can rebuild it. It might be possible to get a POB of your old tree somehow.

Were a lot of your characters in the lower left section of the tree by any chance? There where a lot of changes there this league. My characters where not in that area for necropolis.
