I don't understand how this works... Will somebody please clarify? How do you get 6 sockets on a level 5 item? I thought sockets were based on item level and you need a level 50 to get 6 sockets.
Is this correct or can you get any number of sockets on any level of item? |

Item level is not the level shown. That is the level needed to use it. To find item level, you hold the item on your cursor and then type /itemlevel .
