Chiesel Drops

Just me or cartographes chisels gone?
Ritual + delve + map drops = zero chiesel "Scarabs, Chisels and Horizon Orbs now follow the same drop rules as Maps, as they are consumed proportionally to Endgame Maps. They do not drop more with additional party members present, nor do they scale with bonuses to Item Quantity on the player (not that you can get it anymore outside of Standard Leagues). The intention is to keep the number of these items dropping always proportional to the number of Map items dropping." Proportional??? They heavily nerf the drop rate

yeah chisel drop rate is really bad this league. right now i have more divines than chisels,which never happened before. enough said

I'm not keen on this change, I don't have enough chisels to keep up 20% on all maps. Don't even have enough glassblowers to 20% flasks... it's been a hard league, ships aren't helping just draining.
Makes the grind feel a bit heavier for sure. |

Just farm Kirac missions, every time you open a map from him, you can buy 20 chisels for 8 chaos.

I don't mind it, and the other quality changes. Seemed like excess chisels before. Needing to be more selective with chisel use might be a good thing, feels like they have more value in the game now.

Its just weird such basic currency cant sustain on many game mechanics. |

I think that was partially the point. they wanted to make them less economical for reds because it basically made using them on anything else objectively silly.
If you think about it they got 4 times more effective on whites and twice as effective on yellow. So using them on lower maps is more attractive. Plus I think it is kinda cool that the kirac vendor recipe is useful. it is a different meta. Especially since right now masters are not in the best of spots because they tend to make farming for gold inefficient. |
