I'm a new/returning player with little experience, this time I'm playing this build (loot filter I also got from pohx site):

Unfortunately I can hardly find gear (as always I have no luck) that fits the build, in trade everything is way too expensive for my lvl 49 char.

I don't know how to proceed?

If you're tying to level with RF you will need a way to counter the burning until you get your max fire res capped. This is probably going to be flat regen on gear. Max life is good for RF but might not be the best option while leveling because it also increases the degen. For this reason damage and regen on gear and tree is probably better early, then increase life later when you can handle it.

Enduring cry will probably be helpful. I'm not sure if it's better/worse than it was for levelling with the recent changes, but it will probably still be useful.

Your gear can and sould be improved a lot, even at that level. I don't actually know how you made those magic crafted items, but im not surprise you are struggling. Your helmet is ok, but also goes against advise I gave in first paragraph, anyway I would keep that as its your only decent item. Everything else needs to be swapped. I would start with the items that don't break your links, but they also need to go. Assuming you are in act 5 unless you really grinded through, check vendor quests if you haven't cashed them in for belt and ring upgrade. If you have no currency at all and cant progress, farm an easier zone until you get some upgrades. Your tree looks not that bad, without looking at POB maybe your regen is ok, and your res might be capped, so it's probably not all bad, not use to seeing magic gear at that level though. Keep any eye out for essences, you should of come across a few by now, any stats on weapon should be better than none. They might be hard to kill in a higher level zone. Expedition will probably be useful if you run into one. If you are in act 6, there's a 4 link vendor reward and belt early on. Don't waste currency, but you will have to use some to improve. If you have enough wisdom scrolls start id gear and sell to vendor to get your currency moving.

Edit: Looked up current POB, I think the one you linked is outdate. Looks like you should have enough regen. I think you probably go to spiritual aid? That will give you 60% inc damage for next 2 points and allow for minion roll on weapon. I think you probably want wave of conviction skill until you get exposure from somewhere else. You probably can start adding life nodes as well, unless your going to breath of flame, what ever the guide says. It doesn't look like one major deficiency, you have baseline, just need more of everything because missing decent gear.

You should be able to find upgrades just off the ground and save currency for when you have something worth crafting bench on or trading for a slot you having trouble with.

I dont check the whole system how to get better gear, vendor has nothign for me, checked few times and thats annoying.

Drops are bad, trade has enough but all is to expensive :/

What does the guide say about leveling gear? Surely you can just essence and find some upgrades? You should be getting drops off the ground with his loot filter settings?

What act are you in and are you hitting a wall? You could just push on until you get some drops. A lot of the power from RF comes from the build itself and not the gear, you seem to have it set up alright, so if you're making progress it might not be a problem that your gear is bad.

Also is punishment better than flammability, does the guide suggest that? I guess it might be better, you could have both for bossing the first half with flam then switching maybe.

Ruby or granite flask act 5 might also be useful.

I followed the build-guide, all works fine, just that i dont find that gear or similiar gear that is listed on the guide. The Lootfilter is fine but as all Random Loot games i dont have luck, nothing really fits. The first time i played POE i have all bought from the trade.

You should be fine then, there's not really any gear needed beyond requirements you are meeting. I still think you should be able to find some upgrades pretty easily, but part of why that build is good is you don't really need anything. I'm more familiar with Jugg, but chieftain probably allows you to have even less gear.

Its not that hard.



I know its not top and it is harder this league but just focus on key points.

i doubt that is true, you can go trough campaign with just ground loot and bench crafts. but in any case, you can also craft the gear yourself: https://www.pohx.net/Crafts

Looks like you've powered on and found some upgrades. It's possible the loot filter is too strict for you while levelling. I Haven't used it so I don't know, but there should be enough base loot dropping in campaign to get through without being forced to trade or even needing a whole lot of crafting. I played through the campaign about 8 times solo leading up to this league, didn't run into any lack of drops. Wasn't on RF, but RF is less restrictive on gear on most respects compared with other builds, except for requiring fire resistance.
