GAME CRASHES AND FREEZES SINCE 3.25, THE GAME IS NOW UNPLAYABLE

Haven't had too many consistent issues until tonight. Game freezes randomly and is currently unplayable. When it freezes the only option is exit and restart only to have it freeze within 1 min of coming back. Several maps when a crash occurs the map is unplayable. Load a different map and run it no issues. The back to freezing again.

No idea where to fix it. Hope someone can share solutions

Started happening to me since installing 24H2 update.

Have been doing heist for about an hour, went back to base, loadscreen gets super laggy with the mouse, cant alt tab, cant alt f4, could only hard reset the pc. Its happening on random loadscreens now.

Have all the latest drivers.

After updating Windows 11 to version 24h2, PoE occasionally hangs the entire computer, either when teleporting to a city or when moving to the next instance.

Sometimes loads, most times doesn't. When it does load I may get 5 mins of game play (if lucky).

I have spent hours of my time going through all the different help ideas. I suspect it is server capacity as nothing I do on my side makes a difference. The only idea I found that is guaranteed to work is to uninstall POE and load D4. A shame as I find POE to be the better game.

I realized my hard drive was falling asleep. When PoE would try and load textures the game would crash. I changed my settings so my hard drive wouldn't fall asleep and that fixed everything for me. I think a Windows update may have changed background settings which caused this problem.

Having same issue last couple days, constant crashes usually not even getting past login screen. Every other game on PC running flawlessly, regardless of launcher etc. Have tried all fixes suggested across Youtube, forums and reddit etc. Hopefully there's a patch at some point soon. Wanted to really dive back in deep into POE before POE2 releases but been a nightmare so far.

Even buggy messes like Tarkov run without issue!

it seems that all they do is make the game worse with each new patch. I have 1660gtx, I can't afford to play 60 fps at minimum settings.
How did we come to this?
I remember the time when I played on 670gtx and didn't know any problems.

PS: Don't lie that visually the game has become better, for me it has become worse because I have to play at minimum settings.
