Every time i try to play the game makes me validate and download. Then when i get to launch it says that there is a patch i need to download and reopen the game to play. I've rinsed and repeated this process 7 times, please help

LMAO this makes it sound as if the issue is on steam's end. I was able to successfully patch other games and play them while I wait for PoE's shitshow to get sorted out.
