Dual bow weapon swap "build" (most Tanky DPS)

Now I don't really call this a build, more of a setup since you require pretty expensive gear to pull this off.

The idea came to me when i dropped kaom's heart and realized 6L aoe + 4L single target is not enough to survive the hardest of bosses.

At first I was using 6L Marohi erqi as my alt weapon for rares/bosses (Glacial hammer) but then realized I can use anothe 6L LG with point blank and yield the same result.

Assuming you mean Blood Rage(?) It's mainly used by CI users, it grants you frenzy charge for every kill and refreshes timer with every kill (3 charges = 15% additional IAS).

The negative side is that it drains your life pool by doing chaos damage, but if you have high enough regen & chaos resistance it won't even bother you, even on 50% regen maps.

Since my original post I've grabbed 2 more frenzy nodes, giving me 25% IAS throughout the map runs, you can also drop vitality and get haste+5 frenzys and go really crazy but that's not advised lol.

dps was higher but i felt crippled without leap + bright break on switch

Build:
1. Aura stacking (7 Auras + BR)
2. Key nodes - IR, Unwavering stance, Ele Adaption, Inner force, Static Blows & Reduced Mana Reservation.
3. Can work with any combination of skills, Split arrow, LA, Frenzy, ele hit (Single target and vice versa), anything to keep you entertained.
4. Haste Aura gives you 15% IAS and takes 40%, with this setup you can take Vitality instead and use Blood Rage which doesn't cost any mana reserve and be flexible with 50% regen maps. You end up having both regen and IAS.

What you need:
1. 6L x 2 Lioneye's Glare setup:

First: LA, Chain, LMP, Ele DMG, LOH, BM.


Second: Ele Hit, FA, Life Leech, Ele DMG, Point Blank, BM.

3. Aura distibution & reduction items:

I recently found with the hawl helm you can just take 1 reserve reduction mana node to accomplish 7 auras.

4. Rest of the gear must be with the RRBG colors (helm + gloves + boots), it can be pure evasion or armor, that's up to you really:

Gloves - Wrath, Grace, Anger, free socket (I use portal gem)
Helm - BM, Vitality, BR, Ele weakness
Boots - Hatred, Purity, Determination, Reduced Mana

Yesterday I did 77 Shrine & 77 Shipyard for my first time, both 50% regen and turbo mode, I didn't fraps it because I was afraid it would crash my game and id lose out on 79 items.

but it was really easy, even tho the other ranger & freezepulser in my group died.

Hi, not to "bump" my own thread but I'm genuinely interested to hear feedback.

Has anyone else played/playing like this?

I know since Kaom's heart chest is very popular people choose Rain of Arrow build, because in a way it's like Freeze pulse (good as AOE & single target) so you don't need another 6L on your gear.

Just FYI, before I had all the expensive gear I was using a normal 5L chest with 5L weap, the weap swap wasn't needed obviously but the build itself in terms of passive tree + aura stacking still applied and worked great. You don't actually need anything to stack the auras and it will cover your resistance / dps.
