If the game is so easy that a single player can reliably and easily complete level appropriate content that is scaled for 6 active players then that sounds like a pretty terribly balanced game.

D2 was such a game :P
Then again, that game was a bit horrible in some aspects I was willing to overlook at the time.
And once in hell, it got terribly hard with 8x players. I did do 4x players through all of hell myself, that was probably my best achivement in d2.

Unbeliveable that blizzard allowed it at all.
Did a couple of hc at the end too, but I quit before I got further than 80.

Seems like a simple fix for this. (If they even care to fix it) would just be to make mobs drop loot according to how many players HIT it, not just how many players are in the zone.

that wouldn't stop people who use scripts.

GGG have stated in the past they they are fine with this. They have even made changes in the past to allow multiple clients to run on one machine.

Does this count as cheating guys? =P



Actually, I was wondering about multiboxing myself. PoE seems to be very susceptible to it, being a click-to-move, free to play game. Even with identical input in all characters, it would be very easy to make it work.

Not interested myself though; I'm not that kind of gamer.

If you bothered to look, there was a patch announcing changes to exp and parties to stop multiboxing, at least with low level characters.

You could have characters that are higher level, but it requires much more effort than to simply play solo.

I bothered, but it doesn't stop multibox practically..and in any case mine was only a post to explicit my opinion about that..not a criticism..
