oh, Hurstville. Good for grub!
I love Brisbane, almost as much as I love Melbourne. Both have an abundance of awesome second hand book stores. :) PS I recommend the guild 'ACE' (Alpha Crucis Exiles) to any Australians playing PoE. Great blokes. https://linktr.ee/wjameschan -- everything I've ever done worth talking about, and even that is debatable. Last edited by Foreverhappychan#4626 on Aug 5, 2014, 8:33:27 PM

Ah, Perth. Lovely place. A bit slower than the rest of the country, but genuinely good people, as this video shows.
I do wonder how that would have gone in Sydney. Certainly no filming or selfies, but I'm fairly sure our trains are heavier dutier than Perth's... https://linktr.ee/wjameschan -- everything I've ever done worth talking about, and even that is debatable.

Great clip there Ray...makes me proud to be an Aussie and a West Aussie at that.

Lived in Cronulla, Sydney, for the first 9 years of my life. Moved to Perth after that. Got to say Perth is much more chilled than I remember Sydney being. Everyone there is always in a rush.

Currently ten minutes from Cronulla. Shire born and raised.
We Sydneysiders find Perth folk interminably sluggish. https://linktr.ee/wjameschan -- everything I've ever done worth talking about, and even that is debatable.

So sluggish that I'm 2 years late to this thread :P
Perth is an over-grown mining town though, that should help put it in perspective. As a resident, I understand it is great for family orientated folk, kids, backyards etc. The wife and I want neither hence we have our sights set on Melbourne. Loved that city. As for beer & wine, WA has some pretty good offerings. My favourite import though has to be Chimnay. There was also a brewery in the Karri forest town of Pemberton called Jarrah Jacks that made awesome beer. Sadly it was poorly managed and ran into tax problems or something. RIP Jarrah Jacks, that Honey Porter was amazing. Tin foil hats are a lie propagated by the aluminium industry.
