Improvements to Item Drops

So....... here is my question.

This is a hypothetical situation with random numbers.

If pre MoK, our drop rate is 100%, and we get nerfed by 70%.

We would have 30% Drop rate left compared to pre patch.

Now GGG announces they will buff drop rates by 10%, 33%, etc.

33% buff to our 30% LoK droprate will bring us to 40% which is still 60% less then before LoK.

I dunno man, if my math checks out, this is just mere scraps, trying to waterhose a wildfire.
This is still a huge nerf. If you want to make a game with less and important loot you should not do it on an ARPG title. We are addicted to loot not your visuals or skills. If there is no loot, there is no players.

The issue is that the drop got nerfed by a 90%.

A 25% of a 10% == 12.5%. Let´s be positive, we are at a 15 - 20%....
please reintroduce sentinel league i might forget what a big nonsense kalandra league is

You are correct. On the high end we lost 90-95% of loot. Aka you had 100% in 3.18 and now had 10% in 3.19. They buffed 10% by 25% for currency and 33% for uniques, so top end went from 100% to 12,5%/ 13,3%

Alc and go / lower investment is was probably closer to 60% less loot. So you had 100% in 3.18 and 40% in 3.19. They buffed 40% by 25/33 , so alc and go went from 100% to 50% / 53,5%

Ofc this numbers are estimations, but people like Empy group and PoM and other people reporting puts it somewhere into that ballpark. This post is them basically double or rather tripleing down on massive loot nerfs while trying to save PR with numbers that don´t mean much to your average player.
