Improvements to Item Drops

Not good enough tencentGGG.

The game is going to be bad for as long as Archnemesis remains in the game.
Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.

I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_-

Then tell people they are testing something, don't leave historic changes out of patch notes because it will kill the hype around a new league. Pulling a bait and switch is so much worse. 29% buff on the <10% that is left after the massive nerfs? What a joke.

No word on actually fixing the problems with Archnemesis, just gutting all the mechanics we like of rewards and shoving them some of them back into the one we don't.

If you think people are complaining for no reason, you haven't been reading their feedback. It's been loud and clear.


Get someone from marketing to tell you why this was not in patch notes.
Judging on the way the last manifesto was received, I would also be hesitant to communicate something that is poorly understood in general.

If more people spent time playing the game, than propagating hate on the internet just because some streamer is not getting 2000c profit per map, things would have been much better.

I had absolutely no problem in terms of difficulty and drops, which is visible from my profile.

Yes, mobs are harder. Yes Drop is less. Can we adapt to it? Yes.

I see many who have some issues with math.

We have some drop rate. Like 1.
Before nerfs we have many ways to up it, include base shadow bonus on some mobs. So we get 1 + 3000% or something around. And we boost final value by gear and currency. It gives us 30 + ???%
GGG remove shadow bonuses. And what we get in final base 1 + 200-300%...
So now take result chance as 2-3 and sum with generously improvements to item drops.

Maybe I wrong. I hope I wrong and it will be working as we hope. But I don't want to believe in something good after this sucker punch in the balls.

They nerfed loot " GLOBALLY" by 90% by most estimations. a 33% buff at THAT number, is a new value of 87% nerf.

Our currency tabs have much more than 25% of a reduction versus most past leagues. Maybe I'm very wrong with how this gets calculated before quant bonuses though... would be awesome if this was a bigger buff than it sounds!

IMO the Unique changes are cool. They don't help our concerns, but are cool anyway so +1 TY

The Lake is a straight-up awesome MECHANIC and was very well designed. We just want it to drop more than 2c for an entire lake. Prior to yesterday's buff, it was 0c. Post-buff, it's 2c, and still not worth the time investment by a mile. The LOOT needs a complete rework, like all chests are currency or something. The overall mechanic is awesome and I know many people who love it and wish it was worth the time to run. I hope the notes in this post are more than another "rare chest drops more rare items you don't pickup".
Mobile games have better trading...
So when will t his be deployed? :o Has it already been? I just came back to the game after 2 years off. My loots was struggling :P

So which one is it, awesome design or drops should be a lot better? Because until drops are fixed its not a good design in my mind. The game is about loot, implement a mechanic with lousy loot and it's not a good design.
