TBH, this read like a huge "Don't play!" instruction to me... Yes, I know there will be some red maps on the atlas, but that'll get dull really quickly.

Mainly it sounds like "Your map drops will suck unless you defeat the four top bosses", with the Maven fight being the worst boss fight design in the game...

I hated the Watchstone mechanic (though reducing it to 4 regions made it better), but this sound even worse... :-(

This is basically the oldschool mapping system. A limited amount of high level maps to run. And red maps dropping tier 1 maps again. Sustain will become a lot harder. Of course no idea at this moment how you can negate this with the atlas skill tree. But dont get your hopes up. Possible we are back in a scenario that most will need to buy their maps from those who did all the 4 endgame bosses.

Regarding Eldritch Implicit Modifiers

I though it would have been a good time to fill the gaps because current implicits are a bit lackluster for some builds. From what have been released so far in the notes, there's nothing catering to chaos hit/projectiles spells.
Damn, now only secondary end-game will be possible for me xD. When the only way to get Awakened Gems was farming currency (sweet, sweet inflation <3) or killing Conquerors (not Sirius, because I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING THERE), moving it to secondary end-game hurst... With Maven unkillable for me. I wonder if chance to get awa-gems will be higher or lower then getting it from Conquerors...

I'm excited for new league and patch. But I fear that 3.17 will be a nightmare for people who does not follow meta / pre-constructed builds.
Cast on Critical Strike Support: Supported Skills now deal 19% less Spell Damage at gem level 1 (previously 20% more), and 10% less at gem level 20 (previously 29% more).

Is this a f-ing joke? 40% damage nerf? how are coc builds going to enjoy these buffs? this nerf is MASSIVE

Yup... That was my thought as well :-/
So in 3.12 you said: "We're replacing the Enchantment and disabling The Long Winter threshold jewel from dropping, to be re-introduced in a new form later."

It almost sounded like as if you already had something in mind but now 5 leagues later and with changes to threshold jewels there is still nothing, so there was never an idea for the threshold?

Unfortunately i was naive enough to hope with this mysterious upcoming threshold jewel something beneficial will be introduce to finally play glacial cascade self cast...

At least in the announcement videos there was a lot glacial cascade usage. It is also my favorite spell and i hope it will be viable next league.

But yeah, i also wondered there is nothing mentioning GC in the spot where they talked about the changes to the spells that are missing their threshold jewels now.
