How can i keep my Health regen high enough with a regular ES Shield and not using springleaf or Rise of phoenix shields?

It actually works as a pair. You need both IIQ and IIR to farm efficiently.
If your IIR is too low compared to your IIQ, you'll be looting tons of sh*t items/currency.
If your IIQ is too low on the other hand, you'll have more "rarity" on items and currency, but since you'll drop only very few items, it won't be that good.

got 252 IIR and 45 IIQ now, lets see if it makes a difference or RNG still trolls me

Im at lvl 77 rite now..... what is better to my DPS? spend 3 skill point on cast speed tree (Nimbleness) or use the 3 points on critical chance tree (Boodthirst)?

New to this ... How do i keep my life up? Would vitality be enough ?

Would depend on your ES/HP, ecka also took one of the hp % regen nodes.

Take the 1% liferegeneration from the templar tree after you took the armor/es nodes and remove all life from your gear is the key.

having max resist with elemental adaptation and purity with inner force + vitality will be enough to outregen the righteous fire.

But keep in min to take a Flask that dispels burning to remove rightous fire if your es gehts to low after hit and use 1 Ruby flask for es regeneration it will increase you resists over the max cap and your es starts regenerating for a short period of time.

The Phoenix unique shield is for starters very good because of the high fireresist and max firecap you can have more fireresist and its easier to outregen righteous fire even in halfregen and chaosdmg maps

If you use the ruby flask once, and let it go for just short of the full duration and then hit it again, you can trigger the full regen because you didn't take damage in a while.

Anyone else concerned about the patch wrecking this build with the alteration to the ES? RF is still going to do 100% of our health as damage, but Max ES is going to drop..

Stupid question, but why would i want to remove HP from my gear ? And, can i get started with this build right now with a regular 5L yellow chest? Tried switching over from DOminion's build, once i activated RF my ES depleted and HP went down to 1 in bout 5 seconds ( Max fire resist ).. lol, my vitality is level 1 though.. maybe thats the problem.

The way I see it, near the witch starting point they'll be adding a 20% spell dmg node. I can now spec out of some lightning dmg nodes and use the skillpoints for ES nodes, for example the nullification circle near the shadow start.

Yep Nullification is worth to pic up 3 nodes away for 10 allres 10 es 10 esrecovery and 10 eva is totaly worth it....

on the opposite side predigitation 20 manaregen & 6% castspeed in the templar starting area for 4 points is a waste in my oppinion you wont need the regen anyway and 1,5% castspeed per node is not worth to pic up

you want top remove your life to keep the damage you take low from righteous fire otherwise the firedmg will rape you.

If you start you can do it with a rare chest too but if u use a rare chest you need to high Chaosresistance because you are lowlife chaosdmg will just totaly rape your life.. a Shavrones is a good chest for this build... you are not immune to chaosdmg but it will hit your es instead. But if you get a good rare and bring your chaosresist up this can be better
