It can drop from both docks and lunaris, but you have no higher chances in lunaris (aside from bosses like Piety and, i think, Spinecrack and Kole), so if you manage to kill more monsters in the same time span, docks is better as it gives more rolls for items.

Don't take these words for fact tho, i didn't make any calculations for bosses enhanced drop rates, so i'm only talking about clear speed here

TBH i feel they are almost equivalent right now, so if you can manage to maintain a decent speed in lunaris you are probably better running that place as it can also drop those uniques that docks can't (Kaom's Heart, Lioneye's etc.)

It has a much higher chance in lunaris. It can't drop from trash mobs in docks. It can drop from any mob in lunaris. Not to mention any mob in Lunaris 68 can drop Kaom's Heart. Kaom's Heart is worth more than any non 6L Shav. Assuming Kaom's and Shav have the same drop rate (big assumption). That mean Kaom's DOUBLES your chance of finding Shavs.

People run docks for shav because they are lemmings. Eckalina got very very lucky. He's the exception not the rule.

can you guys tell me a good route for farming at lunaris temple?
atm i go kill kole then the Boss in the 3rd floor and a again kole and so on...
should i only farm at 3rd stage?

In fact all but 1 unique can drop from Lunaris level 2 (some shield) and ALL can drop from level 3 (currently).
Kaoms can drop from level 68 creatures so magic and higher from level 2 and all enemies from level 3.

Shav can drop from ANY enemy in docks as it's a level 62 unique and docks is level 63. So, if going for only that docks seems safer (no titty shooters)

I'm thinking of following this build for my witch (currently level 17). What is used early on around my level? I have freeze pulse with freeze damager, when is switch to spark totem and what is another good main attack that would also use lightening?

This is a good farming build, however I disagree with the recommendation to get RF at 80.
I say get it as soon as possible.
I got it in the early 60's and it made a huge difference to my DPS.
And any increase you experience in DPS is magnified by RF, so again get it as soon as possible.
Another thing, perhaps invest in the Eye of Chayula, 20% less life, so RF is easier to manage AND +30 IIR and some nice stats too which allows managing Auras stat requirements easier.
(Note I have seen Rare amulets with more than +30, but as "cheap" way to get into the RF build sooner I'd recommend it.)
Using the Eye I can have FR as low as 60% and still be able to run RF, but I got lucky as my armor has 700 ES which no doubt helps.
The one area I feel lacking tho is IQ, atm I have 396 IIR and only 22 IQ as I am limited to 5 slot armor atm.(Don't want to riske wrecking armor with wrong colors :D )
With 3400 ES and 60% FR with the eye you can run RF, perhaps assuming none of your other gear gives you life and Springleaf, or 1900 ES and 82/83 % FR using Springleaf no Eye.(with 2 Andv rings).

Switch at lvl 31 then you get dual totems if you're following the early build.
(put spark in and offhand so it's already levelled when you get dual totem)

Why it can't drop from any mobs in docks? It should since Occultist's Vestments is lvl 62, docks is lvl 63... Had may white and blue with the very rare yellow Occultist's Vestments drop from white mobs in docks.

Docks is easier than Lunaris because being outdoors you don't have limited vision. Of course Lunaris is better because of better ilvl of items, but till you get to have the gear to comfortably run Lunaris, I think Docks is your best bet :)

You're right. I thought it was 64.

hey guy,its a amazing build and i have copied one,but now im confused,iv got 4798es with lv13 discipline and 681life,82fire res,lv16 vitality(so its 1.3% regenerate)
my es recovery/s is 128.8
the damage of rf is 681*(100-82)/100=122.58
but why my es still get down with rf,did i miss something?
help me plz mate~~tyvm!
